Clarksville Police report Suspicious Activity grabs Man’s attention which leads to Residential Burglars getting Caught

A man who paid attention when he saw suspicious activity helps Clarksville Police put burglars behind bars.
Clarksville, TN – On June 14th, 2012, around 12:30pm, a watchful neighbor saw some activity which seemed suspicious to him.
He saw a man get out of the passenger side a Buick in the area of 474 Circle Drive, walk around talking on a cell phone, knock on the door of 474 Circle Drive and then get picked up a short time later by the same vehicle.

Haynes Street Water Outage

Clarksville, TN – A Clarksville Gas and Water construction crew has turned off water service on Haynes Street and Eastern Hills Drive to repair a leaking fire hydrant. Water service is expected to be off for approximately 2-3 hours while repairs are made.
Surrounding residents may experience low water pressure during the work.

Clarksville, TN – As of 1:30pm, 6,000 CDE customers are without power. Circuits still down in the New Providence are as follows: Darlene Drive, Zachary Drive, Charlemagne Blvd, Fort Campbell Blvd from Fountain Bleau to West Concord Road, and West Concord Road.

Midday Progress report on the Power Outage

Clarksville, TN - As of 11:00am, fewer than 500 customers are without power.
 CEMC Power crews in Clarksville assisting CDE with restoring power to city residents after the April 19th Storm
The Eastern Hills area has been restored. Addresses include; Audubon Woods, Cherokee Trail, Merritt Drive, Haynes Street.
Another important note: This morning, we received a call from a family on Evans Road who had medical equipment that requires power. We already had 6 crews in that area and were able to respond quickly.
We encourage any customers who have emergency needs to call us. Our crews are doing everything they can to restore power to everyone, but we do prioritize these types of situations, when at all possible.
