Clarksville Police arrest Curtis Shelton Jr. for July 2013 Murder


Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – On Tuesday, April 15th, 2014, the Clarksville Police Department Homicide Unit made an arrest in the July 21st, 2013 murder of Miles Hendricks, which occurred at 727 Ranch Hill Drive, Clarksville.

Twenty-three year old, Curtis O’neil Shelton Jr. has been charged with Criminal Homicide and is being held without bond at the Montgomery County Jail.

Clarksville Police Officers and Montgomery County Sheriff Deputies joint effort places man with warrant behind bars


Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – A man with a warrant for Violation of Community Corrections was taken into custody through a joint effort between City and County Law Enforcement Officers.

Deshawn Antonio Russell was already placed on Community Corrections for Aggravated Burglary, Drugs and Violation of Probation when he was charged with Possession of Burglary Tools and Simple Possession on March 26th, 2012. He was released from jail on bond, March 28th, 2012.

Two Men in Custody and Charged with Homicide


Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – On January 15th, 2010, around 3:30am, officers were called to the 118 West Washington Street when a vehicle crashed into a house. The caller also said that there were men fighting outside in front of the residence. 

When officers arrived they found 25 year old, Montavious Dashawn Talley on the ground with a stab wound to the chest area and that he had crashed  a 2000 Ford SUV into the house. The men involved in the fight had already fled from the scene. At that point, the suspects, the reason for the fight and the crash were unknown.
