Clarksville Police reports 41A-Bypass remains Closed

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – The Clarksville Police Department is still investigating and trying to clear the roadway as fast as possible.

However the road is still shutdown and Citizens are strongly encouraged to find alternate routes. The 41-A Bypass is shut down from Denny Road to Highway 12.

CPD is unable to provide a time when the road will be reopen.

Clarksville Police reports Vehicle Crash shuts down 41-A Bypass

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – The Clarksville Police Department reports that the 41-A Bypass is shut down from Denny Road to Highway 12 until further notice in reference to a Vehicle Crash involving a Semi Truck. The entire road is closed.

Citizens are asked to find another route because you will not be able to get through. Information will follow on the crash when available.

Clarksville Gas and Water reports Ashland City Road/Highway 12 Lane Closure

Clarksville Gas and Water Department - CGWClarksville, TN – Clarksville Gas and Water has closed the eastbound lane of Ashland City Road/Highway 12 between Gratton Road and Lucy Lane to repair a water main leak.

Area residents may experience low water pressure during the work.

The water main repair is anticipated to be finished and the lane reopened by approximately 4:30pm.

McAdoo Creek Road will be passable; however, motorists are advised to slow down and obey flaggers while traveling through the work zone.

Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Winter Weather update

 

Montgomery County Sheriff's Office - MCSOClarksville, TN – Deputies with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office responded to 12 accidents and numerous motorist assists calls in the county today.

One of the accidents occurred on Highway 12 around 12:45pm when a tree fell across the road hitting a vehicle. Despite extensive property damage to the vehicle, the driver was not injured.

Clarksville Police are searching for runaway Joseph Huffman

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Clarksville Police Detective John Bushnell is searching for a runaway juvenile. The runaway juvenile is 13-year-old Joseph William Huffman from Clarksville.

Joseph walked off the back deck of his residence in an unknown direction and has been missing since yesterday October 7th, 2015 at 7:30pm. He has a history of running away and hiding from authorities.

Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office reports Dollar Store robbery suspect in custody in Logan County Kentucky

 

Montgomery County Sheriff's Office - MCSOMontgomery County, TN – The suspect from Sunday night’s robbery of the Dollar General Store on Highway 12 is in custody and currently being held in the Logan County, KY jail and is awaiting extradition back to Montgomery County.

​Joshua Rickerson, 21, who gave a Russellville, KY address will be booked into the Montgomery County Jail on an armed robbery charge. Bond has been set at $250,000.

Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Investigators are looking for Dollar General Armed Robbery Suspect

 

Montgomery County Sheriff's Office - MCSOMontgomery County, TN – Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Investigators are looking for a suspect from a robbery that occurred late Sunday night at the Dollar General Store on Highway 12 near the Cheatham County line.

Victims described the man as a young white male, approximately 17 to 23 years old with dirty brown hair wearing a blue bandana on his face and a white and blue plaid shirt. He also had a tattoo on his left forearm. The suspect was seen driving an older model silver Nissan Maxima.

Montgomery County Sheriff’s Deputies recognized for saving lives using CPR, AEDs

 

Montgomery County Sheriff's Office - MCSOMontgomery County, TN – Montgomery County Sheriff’s Deputies were recognized tonight at the Montgomery County Commission Meeting for saving lives through the use of CPR and automated external defibrillators in three different incidents.

In the first incident on June 27th, Deputy Joshua Gardner arrived to a Gip Manning Road residence where a man was found unresponsive.
