Clarksville Gas and Water reports Sections of Hornberger Lane and Franklin Street Closed

Clarksville, TN – A Clarksville Gas and Water contractor will continue water and sewer main installation work tonight and tomorrow night at the intersection of Hornberger Lane and Franklin Street.

Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Gas and Water will close the Hornberger Lane to through traffic from College Street to Franklin Street on Monday from 8:00am to 4:00pm.

Two Regular Burglars are Going Back to Jail
Clarksville, TN – Once again, repeat offenders are headed back to jail. Bernard Thomas Nelson was released from Montgomery County Jail December 6th, 2011. David Wayne Wylie was released from Tennessee Department of Corrections October 31st, 2011.
On December 8th, 2011, around 4:30am, Nelson and Wylie were captured on surveillance footage committing a commercial burglary at a towing company in the 1200 block of College Street. There was a wooden block thrown through a window by one of the suspects and then a door was opened to allow the other suspect to enter.

College Street Lane Closure

Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Gas and Water construction crews will close both outer lanes on College Street from Kraft Street to Hornberger Lane today until approximately 2:00pm.
Workers will continue ongoing water service line installations along College Street.
College Street Lane Closure and Water Outage Planned

Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Gas and Water construction crews will reduce College Street to two southbound lanes of traffic on Tuesday at 8:00am for 7-8 hours. The northbound lanes will be closed to allow crews to replace water valves on College near the intersections of Red River Street and Hornberger Lane.
A water outage will also be in effect for the same section of College Street during the valve replacement work.

Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Gas and Water construction crews will close both outer lanes on College Street from Red River Street to Hornberger Lane on Tuesday at 5:00pm. Workers will continue ongoing water service line installations along College Street until 4:00am. Wednesday morning.
A water outage will also be in effect on College from Sallee Drive to Hornberger Lane and on Red River Street from Frosty Morn Drive to College Street.

Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Gas and Water has planned water outages and road closures this week along College Street for water valve replacement and new water service line installation.
On Wednesday from 5:00pm to 5:00am construction crews will close all lanes of College Street from Eighth Street to Seventh Street and turn off water service on College from Fourth Street to Home Avenue and on Henry Street from College to Marion Street. Water Outage Planned for Section of Wilma Rudolph Boulevard

Clarksville, TN – Water service will be turned off on Wilma Rudolph Boulevard from Hornberger Lane to Old Trenton Road tomorrow evening at 10:00pm. Work will be performed through the night to relocate a 12-inch water main line in the Red River Bridge construction upgrade area.
The water outage will affect businesses along this section of Wilma Rudolph Boulevard until approximately 5:00am on Friday morning.

Clarksville, TN – The southbound lane of College Street from Red River Street to Hornberger Lane is closed to traffic until noon today. Water service will also be disrupted on this section of College while Gas and Water construction workers repair an eight-inch main.
