National Weather ServiceNashville, TN – The National Weather Service (NWS) reports that a developing storm system will move across the gulf coast states this afternoon into tonight and produce accumulating snowfall across Clarksville-Montgomery County and Middle Tennessee.

For locations generally north of Interstate 40 and west of Interstate 65, snowfall accumulations are expected to be less than one inch.

Clarksville – Montgomery County under Winter Storm Warning starting Friday at noon

 

National Weather ServiceNashville, TN – The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning for ice and snow which is in effect from noon Friday, February 20th to 9:00am CST Saturday, February 21st for Clarksville-Montgomery County as well as Middle Tennessee.

Accumulations from 1 to 2 inches of snow are expected Friday, followed by one tenth to one half inch of ice in the form of freezing rain Friday evening through early Saturday morning. Areas along and east of Interstate 65 will be the hardest hit with new ice amounts up to one half inch. The east half of Middle Tennessee may later be placed under an ice storm warning.

Clarksville – Montgomery County under Winter Storm Watch, Wind Chill Advisory

 

2 to 4 Inches of Snow Possible; Wind Chill from Zero to 10 below Zero

National Weather ServiceNashville, TN – The National Weather Service in Nashville has issued a wind chill advisory, which is in effect from 3:00am to 9:00am CST Sunday for Clarksville-Montgomery County and all of Middle Tennessee.

A winter storm watch has also been issued. This winter storm watch is in effect from Sunday evening through Monday evening.

A wind chill advisory means that very cold air and strong winds will combine to generate low wind chills.

National Weather Service reports Frigid Weather and possible Snow for Clarksville – Montgomery County

 

National Weather ServiceNashville, TN – The National Weather Service (NWS) says there will be at least three periods of weather this weekend and into the first part of next week that will bring some type of significant weather to the Clarksville-Montgomery County area as well as Middle Tennessee.

As early as Saturday afternoon, a cold front will sweep into the Mid-State. There will be snow chances behind this front Saturday evening, with up to a half inch possible on the plateau and a dusting to a quarter inch for the rest of the area.

Nashville, TN – The Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) reports on Saturday February 14th, from 7:00am until 12:00noon, there will be rolling roadblocks on I-24 westbound, between MM 11 and MM 8, in order to move equipment and material across the interstate.

This is part of the bridge replacement project over Interstate 24 (Exit 8) on State Route 237.

Tennessee Department of Transportation reports Ramp to Close for I-24E to I-65N in Davidson County

 

Ramp to Remain Closed through Construction

Tennessee Department of TransportationNashville, TN – Tennessee Department of Transportation contract crews will close the ramp from Interstate 24 eastbound (Exit 44B) to Interstate 65 northbound, north of Nashville, for construction.

Nashville, TN – The Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) reports from Friday, January 22nd until Wednesday, January 28th, from 9:00am-3:00pm, there will be grading, drainage and paving on US 41A (SR 112) from McAdoo Creek Road to East of SR 76.

There will be alternating lane closures on US 41A near Sango Road for conduit installation.
