Clarksville Montgomery County Area under a Flood Watch until Sunday

Montgomery County, TN – Another round of heavy rainfall is expected this weekend which could lead to area flooding and the rise of the Cumberland River.

An upper level disturbance will continue to move across Middle Tennessee today and will develop into a steady, moderate to heavy rainfall lasting into Sunday, May 4th.

Tennessee Department of Transportation Maintenance Work for Montgomery County area starting April 19th, 2013

Nashville, TN – In Montgomery County, the Tennessee Department of Transportation will be doing resurfacing and bridge deck repair on I-24 from SR 76 to the Robertson County Line.

Starting Friday April 19th at 8:00pm through Sunday April 21st, 6:00pm, there will be one lane closures on I-24 eastbound and westbound around LM 15.00 in order to pour concrete on bridge parapet rails.

Nashville, TN – Tennessee Governor Bill Haslam and Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) Commissioner John Schroer released the three-year transportation program, featuring approximately $1.5 billion in infrastructure investments for 80 individual project phases in 47 counties, as well as 15 statewide programs.

TDOT Reports I-40 West in Nashville to Close Next Weekend for Bridge Repair

Nashville, TN – Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) contract crews will close a short section of Interstate 40 Westbound at the I-40/I-24 split just east of downtown Nashville the first weekend in January in order to make repairs to a bridge damaged when it was struck by an oversized vehicle. Tennessee Bureau of Investigation arrests Robertson County Man for Harassment

Nashville, TN – The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, with assistance from deputies with the Robertson County Sheriff’s Office and officers with the Millersville Police Department, overnight arrested a Greenbrier, TN man for making threats toward law enforcement.

James Larry Beard, 45, of Gideon Road in Greenbrier initially called a Department of Human Resources office shortly after noon yesterday making demands and stating he was going to “shoot the place up.” TBI was notified.
