City of Clarksville celebrates Independence Day with a Blast

 

Clarksville Parks and Recreation DepartmentClarksville, TN – The City of Clarksville held the ninth annual Independence Day Celebration on Sunday, July 3rd, 2016 at Liberty Park and what a celebration it was. Featured were great music, good food, games. Just about something for everyone.

The “Ten Strings and Tom” trio kicked things off around 6:00pm. This band is named for the instruments in their band–six string guitar, four string bass, and a tom or one drum of a drum set. They performed songs by Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jimi Hendrix and others.

LBL’s The Homeplace 1850s Farm to host Traditional Independence Day Celebration

 

Land Between the Lakes - LBLLand Between the Lakes, KY/TN – Visitors searching for a traditional family-oriented celebration may visit the Homeplace 1850s Farm on the Fourth of July at Land Between The Lakes National Recreation Area.

Celebrate Independence Day from 1:00pm-4:00pm on Monday, July 4th, 2016 with races, skillet tossing, horse shoes, old-time music, toys, and games. Admission is $5.00 ages 13 and up; $3.00 ages 5-12; free for ages 4 and under, and includes all the day’s activities and programs.

Elkton-Todd County Independence Day Celebration set for Sunday, July 3rd

 

Elkton KentuckyElkton, KY – The Elkton-Todd County Park will once again host the annual Independence Day Celebration and Fireworks Display on Sunday, July 3rd at Todd County Central High School located at 806 South Main Street in Elkton Kentucky.

Now in its 12th year, the annual fireworks spectacular is sponsored by generous donations from BR Knuckles Insurance and Heritage Bank, drawing spectators from across the county and surrounding area.

Clarksville Parks and Recreation DepartmentClarksville, TN – Live music, games, great food and of course fireworks were the highlight of the City of Clarksville’s eighth annual Independence Day Celebration at Liberty Park held Friday, July 3rd, 2015.

“Tonight is our July 3rd Independence Day celebration,” stated Clarksville Parks and Recreation Special Events Supervisor Jessica Goldberg. “We have great music and lots of food. It’s just a great family event.”

Fort Campbell MWR Independence Day Salute to the Nation and Concert set for July 4th, 2015

 

Fort Campbell's Morale, Welfare and Recreation - MWRFort Campbell, KY – Fort Campbell MWR is hosting a Salute to the Nation and Concert on July 4th featuring Lee Ann Womack with guest star Peter Moon Band. Festivities will include a Division Ceremony, an Air Assault Demonstration, the concert, ending with fireworks at 9:30pm.

This event is free and takes place at the Division Parade Field

The event kicks off the Division Ceremony at 6:30pm followed by an Air Assault Demonstration at 7:30pm. Lee Ann Womack takes the stage at 8:00pm and the night concludes with a fireworks show at 9:30pm.
