Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Police Detective Channing Bartel is searching for two runaway juvenile brothers. They have only been in Foster Care in Clarksville for a couple of weeks.
They might be in Clarksville but are probably trying to get to Chattanooga Tennessee. They attempted to run away on October 15th, 2014 and were found walking down I-24 east at the 6 mile marker. They ran away again on the morning of October 20th, 2014.

Nashville, TN – The Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) reports that on Friday, October 10th through Wednesday October 15th, from 8:00pm-6:00am, there will be alternating lane closures on SR 12 (Ashland City Road) from just east of Cumberland Drive to the SR 76 (Martin Luther King Jr Pkwy) intersection.
One lane will remain open in each direction.

But with Governors Stadium resplendent with its $19 million makeover opening Saturday, September 13th as the Governors play host to Chattanooga, the 2014 Football Reunion was strategically centered around the most significant football accomplishment in decades.
Nashville, TN – The Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) reports that on Friday August 15th through Wednesday August 20th, from 9:00am-3:00pm, (excluding weekend), there will be periodic lane closures (rolling roadblocks) on I-24 eastbound and westbound, from MM 0 (Tennessee-Kentucky state line) to MM 32 MM (Cheatham-Davidson county line), in order to spray guardrails for vegetation control.
This will be a moving operation.
Clarksville City Council Regular Session Report for August 7th, 2014; Homeless Shelter Distance reduced
Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville City Council met in its usual regular session meeting on Thursday night, which was also election night. Only a couple of items of note were on the agenda.
Ordinance 7 -2014-15 (Homeless Shelter Distance)

County Mayor Carolyn Bowers looks back at the last eight years and ahead at Montgomery County’s Future
Montgomery County, TN – Montgomery County Mayor Carolyn Bowers was born and raised in Clarksville-Montgomery County. She graduated from Clarksville High School, then attended Austin Peay State University where she received her Bachelor and Masters Degrees. For 29 years, she taught high school business and computer classes in the school system. It was something she enjoyed and loved to do.
Serving as Montgomery County Trustee for two terms before becoming Montgomery County Mayor gave her experience with the county budget and the revenue end. As mayor, she began working on the expenditure end as well as managing the revenues and the bonds that you sell to fund capital projects.

Clarksville Police reports Smei Truck Hauling Bee Hives crashes closing I-24 between State Line and Exit 1
Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Police Department are asking citizens to avoid the east bound side of Interstate 24 between the State Line and Exit 1. A semi truck hauling Bee Hives has been involved in a vehicle crash.
Unfortunately it is unknown when the road will be able to be cleared. The Bee Hives were disturbed and there Bees everywhere. The Officers on scene have been stung multiple time. The Tennessee Highway Patrol is on their way to work the crash. No further information available at this time.
