Tennessee Department of TransportationNashville, TN – Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) contract crews will close one eastbound and westbound lane of I-40 near Jefferson Street in Nashville this weekend to install a containment system for future sandblasting and painting of the bridge.

Tennessee Army Guard Assists Motorists in West Tennessee

 

Tennessee National GuardNashville, TN – Soldiers of the Tennessee Army National Guard’s 168th Military Police Battalion and the Volunteer Training Site-Milan have been mobilized to assist motorists in the Dyer County area of West Tennessee.

Tennessee State Troopers nab armed Robbery Suspects in Cheatham County

 

Tennessee Highway Patrol - THPNashville, TN – Tennessee State Troopers apprehended two armed robbery suspects Saturday evening at the Petro Truck Stop in Cheatham County.

Shortly before the arrests, at approximately 5:00pm on Sunday, February 16th, witnesses at a Shell gas station in Humphreys County off Interstate 40 at Exit 143 in Hurricane Mills reported a white male and white female armed with a handgun and knife robbed the business.

National Weather Service issues a Winter Weather Advisory for Clarksville-Montgomery County, Middle Tennessee for Saturday, February 8th

 

National Weather ServiceClarksville, TN – The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for the Clarksville-Montgomery County Area as snow will fall across northern Middle Tennessee tonight into Saturday morning.

An upper level disturbance will slide across Middle Tennessee and Kentucky tonight into Saturday with a swath of accumulating snowfall. 1 inch of snow will fall mainly north of Interstate 40, with the 1 to 2 inch amounts near the Kentucky border.

All construction related lane closures will be stopped beginning at 6:00am on Wednesday, November 27th until 6:00am Monday, December 2nd.

Montgomery County area TDOT Maintenance Work starting October 10th, 2013

 

Tennessee Department of Transportation - TDOTNashville, TN – In Montgomery County, the Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) reports that Tuesday October 15th, starting at 9:00am through Wednesday October 16th, 4:00pm, State Route 233 in Montgomery County will be closed to through traffic from Woodlawn Road (8.95 Mile Marker) to Lake Road (7.03 Mile Marker) to allow the contractor to install a cross drain.

Local traffic will still be allowed.
