TBI Top Ten Fugitive Johnathon Genes captured in Jackson

Tennessee Bureau of InvestigationNashville, TN – The fugitive who was added to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation’s TBI Top Ten Most Wanted list on Friday is now in custody.

Johnathon Shaquille Genes of Hardeman County was apprehended at a residence in Jackson on Sunday, with the assistance of the U.S. Marshals Service Gulf Coast Regional Task Force and a K-9 unit with the Jackson Police Department. He was taken into custody without incident.

Tennessee Bureau of Investigation recovers Endangered Teens, Arrests Others on Sex Trafficking and Sex Related Charges

Tennessee Legislation Update, No Child Left Behind Waiver, Lottery Scholarship Eligibility for Military Dependents Bill Advances, and more

 

This is the next in a series of updates regarding legislation filed by Tennessee State Representative Joe Pitts (D-Clarksville) for the second session of the 107th Tennessee General Assembly.

The Seal of the State of TennesseeClarksville, TN – The Tennessee House Education subcommittee heard legislation this week regarding the No Child Left Behind (NCLB) waiver recently granted to the state of Tennessee by the U.S. Department of Education. The waiver would allow Tennessee more flexibility in meeting the needs of public school students across our state.

The office staff performs at a high level and serves more than 22,000 veterans and their family members in our area.

It should not be overlooked that more than $79 million in benefits gained for veterans and their families’ through out the VSO has a dramatic and direct impact on our local economy. These residents live and work in our community and thus spend these well deserved benefits not only to support their families but also support various charitable causes like United Way. TBI offers Reward Money for Tip leading to Fugitives Location

 

Tennessee Bureau of InvestigationNashville, TN – The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the capture of two Louisiana fugitives believed to be on the run in the Jackson, Tennessee area. If spotted, the public should call 1-800-TBI-FIND (1-800-824-3463). In addition, Crimestoppers is also offering a $1,000 reward.

Law enforcement asking the public to be extra vigilant in looking for these two individuals and let authorities know if you have been approached or given money to the men. Also, tractor trailer drivers are being asked to come forward and let police know if they have picked up any hitchhikers in the Jackson, Tennessee area over the last few days.

TBI seeks public’s help in Manhunt

 

Tennessee Bureau of InvestigationNashville, TN – The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation is seeking the public’s assistance locating two escaped inmates from Louisiana who are believed to be in the West Tennessee area. Both are considered dangerous and should be approached with caution. If spotted, the public should call 1-800-TBI-FIND (1-800-824-3463).
 
The last time 36-year-old Ricky Wedgeworth and 33-year-old Darian “Drake” Pierce were spotted was in Jackson, TN. last evening after a Tennessee Highway Patrol trooper pulled over a stolen car out of Vicksburg, MS near mile marker 84 along I-40 and the two escapes fled on foot. «Read the rest of this article»
