Blues News to play last Jammin’ in the Alley of the Season on Friday

This is this year’s last Jammin’ in Alley concert

jamminFolks will be Jammin’ in the Alley for the last time this season on Friday, October 16. This month’s concert begins at 7 p.m. and features the group Blues News

Enjoy fun music and dancing in the crisp autumn air right in Downtown Clarksville. Grab a bite to eat while you listen to the band. Restaurants on Strawberry Alley will offer outdoor dining to concert goers. As always, admission is free. Seats are provided, but patrons are welcome to bring their own.

This year’s Jammin’ in the Alley concert series began in May and finishes up this month.

Jammin’ in Alley this weekend

downtown-logoSeptember’s Jammin’ in the Alley concert will take place Friday, September 18 on Strawberry Alley in downtown Clarksville.

This month’s free concert starts at 7 p.m. and features the Z-Soul Band. The band blends original and natural sounds of soul & blues with their own funky twist. They are sure to provide the perfect tunes to groove to and have a good time.

Jammin’ in Alley to feature Cumberland Jazz Project

downtownmarket-logoThe August installment of the Jammin’ in the Alley concert series will take place Friday, August 21, on Strawberry Alley in downtown Clarksville.

This month’s free concert starts at 7 p.m. and features the Cumberland Jazz Project.

Downtown restaurants will offer outdoor dining to Jammin’ in the Alley patrons.  So, don’t worry about making time for dinner before the show.  Grab a seat and a bite to eat while enjoying live music.

Jammin’ in the Alley takes place the third Friday of every month through October.

Strawberry Alley will be closed to through traffic in front of City Hall starting at 1 p.m. on the day of the event.  US Bank’s drive-through and City Hall parking lots will be accessible.

Jammin’ in Alley this weekend

downtown-logoThe July installment of this year’s Jammin’ in the Alley concert series will take place Friday, July 17, on Strawberry Alley in downtown Clarksville.

Beginning this month, concerts start at 7:00p.m.  Starting closer to sundown and escaping the daytime heat should allow for a more enjoyable evening.

This month’s free concert features Chris Robertson and The Country Music Band.  The group is sure to keep concert goers on their feet with their renditions of classic country favorites and band originals inspired by the likes of country legends like Merle Haggard.
