Clarksville Police DUI Arrests for February 25th-March 4th, 2013

 

Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – In an effort to bring more attention to drivers that drink and drive, the Clarksville Police Department is consolidating and publishing the circumstances which lead to the DUI arrest. They are arrests, not convictions.

Police made 14 DUI arrests from February 25th thru March 4th, 2013. The blood alcohol content levels ranged from .121-.201. Two of the DUIs were repeat offenders who had been previously charged. Five of those charged involved accidents.

Nathan Breeden, Nicholas Taylor, Victor Galloway, William Perry, Eric Barnes, Andre Higgins, Kelsey Hedges, Jeffrey Harvey, Theodore Hay, Jace Smith, Aaron Mauk, Richard Gilbreath, Dashawn Nicholson, and Peter Olson were arrested for DUI.

Clarksville Police Officer Spots House Fire, saves one Man, another found deceased

 

Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – On February 4th, around 1:50am, Clarksville Police Officer Gary Mefford was on a traffic stop on Providence Boulevard when he spotted flames coming from a house on Cave Street. He notified dispatch and several officers responded to the scene of the fire at 197 Cave Street.

When officers arrived, the house fire was well underway. They were beating on the doors trying to make contact with anyone inside.

Quality of Officers Hired is Reaffirmed

 

Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – Clarksville Police Department’s  two latest Police Academy graduates reaffirms the quality of the officers hired.  Officers Jeff Lucenti and Brandon Myers graduated from the Tennessee Law Enforcement Training Academy October 8th, 2010. Both officers distinguished themselves while at the academy.

Officer Lucenti was elected by his peers to hold the office of Class Leader/President.
