Clarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University junior Anthony Bradley, who captured medalist honors at the Arkansas State Red Wolves Intercollegiate this week, has been named Ohio Valley Conference adidas® Male Co-Golfer of the Week.
The Ivybridge, Devon (England), native fired rounds of 69-68-72 to finish at 4-under 209, capturing the event by two shots at the RidgePointe Country Club in Jonesboro, AR. He topped a field of 112 competitors. Bradley had 10 birdies and an eagle during the two-day event.

Jonesboro, AR – For the second straight game Austin Peay State University shot 50 percent from the floor. For the second straight game, the Governors shot better than 58 percent from three-point range. And for the second straight game APSU was handed a double-digit loss.
Why? For the second straight game APSU committed an unsightly 28 turnovers.

Peregrine Falcon captured in Tennessee

Nashville, TN – The first Peregrine falcon has been trapped in Tennessee in more than 50 years on the banks of the Mississippi River by a Carroll County resident. Tennessee was awarded one permit by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service allowing the trapping of one Peregrine falcon for the use in falconry beginning in 2011 in selected West Tennessee counties.
Brian Brown, of Clarksburg, made the historic capture on a Friday afternoon at around 2:30pm. He used a Dho-ghazza net and lured the Peregrine he has named “Belle.” He brought the bird to the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency in Nashville for the proper processing.
