5th Special Forces Group (Airborne) Public Affairs
 Fort Campbell, KY – Members from the Tennessee Titans‘ community relations team took time on March 5th to visit the 5th Special Forces Group (Airborne) and the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment at Fort Campbell, KY, to make heartfelt contributions to the two units.
On behalf of Titans Owner K.S. “Bud” Adams, Jr. they donated $5,000 in grants to the veteran associations of the two elite organizations.

Fort Campbell units receive Scholarship Grants from Tennessee Titans Owner and the NFL Foundation

Titans Owner K.S. “Bud” Adams, Jr. and the NFL Foundation recently awarded scholarship grants to elite Army units.
Nashville, TN – Tennessee Titans Owner K.S. “Bud” Adams, Jr. and the National Football League Foundation recently awarded $5,000 in grants to the scholarship funds for two of the Army’s proudest units.
One grant was made to the Army’s 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (Airborne) S.O.A.R (A). That unit is more commonly known as the Night Stalkers and provides helicopter support for our nation’s special operations missions.
Also receiving a grant was the 5th Special Forces Group, commonly known as the Green Berets. «Read the rest of this article»
Tennessee Titans kicker Rob Bironas Excited, Relieved to be Back with Titans

Nashville, TN - Rob Bironas wants to finish his career where he started it.
The Titans’ Pro Bowl kicker will continue to get that chance after he agreed Thursday on a multi-year contract extension with the team he began his NFL journey with in 2005.
“This is where I wanted to be playing — for the Titans, in the city of Nashville and the state of Tennessee,” Bironas said Thursday afternoon. “This is where I call home, so it was an easy decision for me. Mike Munchak to remain head coach of the Tennessee Titans

Nashville, TN – Tennessee Titans owner Bud Adams has made up his mind and is keeping head coach Mike Munchak for another year. However, he is letting chief operating officer Mike Reinfeldt go. Munchak had talked with Adams earlier in the day and relayed Adams’ decision at his Monday news conference.
“He (Bud Adams) informed me that he was making a change in the front office. He was letting Mike Reinfeldt go, and that I would continue to be the head coach going forward, and that myself, Ruston (Webster), and Mr. Adams would get together sometime later in this week possibly, when was good for all of us, to talk about the plan going forward and what our thinking was to get back to being in the playoffs,” stated Munchak. «Read the rest of this article»
Tennessee Titans finish strong beating Jacksonville Jaguars 38-20 at LP Field

Nashville, TN – The Tennessee Titans set out Sunday to finish their season on a high note. They did just that. With 2:14 left in the game, Josh Scobee’s onside kick went out of bounds giving the Titans the ball on the Jacksonville 49 yard line. Tennessee finished running out the clock when Collin Mooney took the ball up the middle with .34 seconds left.
The Titans beat the Jacksonville Jaguars 38-20 in their last game of the season. Tennessee also made NFL history with two players scoring two touchdowns each on returns during the game. «Read the rest of this article»
2012 Tennesse Titans Community Man of the Year is Jared Cook

Nashville, TN – The Tennessee Titans announced today that tight end Jared Cook has been named the 2012 Titans Walter Payton Man of the Year Award winner. Cook was selected by a voting panel that consisted of his teammates, Titans staff, members of the news media and local non-profit and community executives for his dedicated community service.
Cook is now a finalist for the league-wide 2012 Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year Award that will be awarded during Super Bowl week in New Orleans. This prestigious NFL award has been in existence since 1970 and is the only NFL award that honors players who demonstrate outstanding balance in their lives between civic and professional responsibilities.

Canton, OH – Offensive linemen Larry Allen and Jonathan Ogden, defensive linemen Warren Sapp and Michael Strahan, defensive back John Lynch and kicker Morten Andersen, are among the 13 first-year eligible modern-era candidates nominated for the Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2013.
The complete list of candidates for the Class of 2013 consists of 127 nominees. From that list the Pro Football Hall of Fame Selection Committee will choose 25 candidates who will advance as semifinalist nominees. The list of 25 semifinalist nominees will be announced in late November.
