Tennessee TitansNashville, TN – The Tennessee Titans-Houston Texans rivalry is in its 16th year since the expansion Texans began play and the AFC South was formed in 2002. In 31 games, the Titans are 16-15 against the Texans, including a 9-6 mark at Nissan Stadium and a 7-9 record at NRG Stadium.

While the Titans have the advantage in the series, the Texans have won nine out of the last 11 battles. The Titans broke the Texans’ five-game winning streak in the series in the 2016 season finale at Nissan Stadium.

Tennessee TitansNashville, TN – The Tennessee Titans and Kansas City Chiefs are historic rivals that played an integral role in the formation of the current NFL landscape.

In 1959, late Titans owner K.S. “Bud” Adams, Jr. and the late Lamar Hunt, founder of the Chiefs, spearheaded the “Foolish Club,” a group of eight original American Football League teams that would begin play in 1960.

Adams’ Oilers played in Houston until moving to Tennessee in 1997, while Hunt’s original Dallas Texans moved to Kansas City in 1963. In 1970, the AFL and NFL merged, and the Oilers and Chiefs became members of the American Football Conference.

Tennessee Titans begin hunt for CEO/President

 

Tennessee TitansNashville, TN – The Tennessee Titans will begin the search process for a new team CEO/President after Tommy Smith retired earlier today. Smith served as the team’s CEO/President over the last year and a half, roles he assumed after the passing of K.S. “Bud” Adams, Jr. in October of 2013.

Additionally, the team has installed Steve Underwood to serve as the team’s interim President, until the team identifies a permanent replacement who will be based in Nashville. Underwood will relocate to Nashville next week to begin his duties.Tennessee Titans «Read the rest of this article»
