Most recently on March 12th in Dallas, Pekka Rinne made 32 saves to record his league-leading fifth shutout of the season, Shea Weber and Gabriel Bourque scored power-play goals, and Rich Clune scored the eighth penalty-shot goal in franchise history on the 24th all-time attempt in a 4-0 Nashville win.

Nashville Predators visit Vancouver Canucks

 

Nashville PredatorsNashville, TN – The Nashville Predators are fresh off their 4-0 shut-out of the Dallas Stars as they enter game two of their five game road trip, with a visit to the Vancouver Canucks. Face-off is at 9:00pm CT at Rogers Arena.

The Predators improved to 10-1-4 when scoring more than one goal and 5-0-0 in Tuesday games. Nick Spaling opened the scoring for Nashville with his fourth goal of the season . The Predators improved to 18-1-1 all time when he scores. Gabriel Bourque tied for the team lead with his seventh goal of the season, equaling his 43-game goals total from 2011-12.

The Predators are coming off of a thrilling, action packed, over-time thriller vs. the Dallas Stars on Monday night at the Bridgestone Arena, 5-4.

Roman Josi posted the first four-point outing (2g-2a) of his career on Monday night, as he beat Christopher Nilstorp 28 seconds into overtime to give the Predators the 5-4 win over Dallas. He posted the Predators second goal of the game and added assists on back-to-back goals for Nashville.

Craig Smith opened the scoring for Nashville his first goal of the season on the power play at 5:01 of the first period. It was his first marker since April 7th, 2012 at the Colorado Avalanche.

Pekka Rinne notched his 10th career postseason victory on Sunday afternoon, turning aside 41-of-43 shots. Detroit’s 43 shots were the second-highest shot total Rinne has seen in his postseason career.
