Nashville, TN - The Nashville Predators and Dallas Stars wrap up their three-game 2012-13 set on Friday at Bridgestone Arena with the Predators having won each of the first two meetings.

Most recently on March 12th in Dallas, Pekka Rinne made 32 saves to record his league-leading fifth shutout of the season, Shea Weber and Gabriel Bourque scored power-play goals, and Rich Clune scored the eighth penalty-shot goal in franchise history on the 24th all-time attempt in a 4-0 Nashville win.

Nashville Predators visit Vancouver Canucks

Nashville, TN – The Nashville Predators are fresh off their 4-0 shut-out of the Dallas Stars as they enter game two of their five game road trip, with a visit to the Vancouver Canucks. Face-off is at 9:00pm CT at Rogers Arena.

The Predators improved to 10-1-4 when scoring more than one goal and 5-0-0 in Tuesday games. Nick Spaling opened the scoring for Nashville with his fourth goal of the season . The Predators improved to 18-1-1 all time when he scores. Gabriel Bourque tied for the team lead with his seventh goal of the season, equaling his 43-game goals total from 2011-12.

Nashville Predators are on the road Wednesday to face the Anaheim Ducks

Nashville, TN – The Nashville Predators have boarded a plane for the West Coast, and will play the Anaheim Ducks, Wednesday night, 9:00pm CT, at the Honda Center. The Predators are coming off of a thrilling, action packed, over-time thriller vs. the Dallas Stars on Monday night at the Bridgestone Arena, 5-4.

Roman Josi posted the first four-point outing (2g-2a) of his career on Monday night, as he beat Christopher Nilstorp 28 seconds into overtime to give the Predators the 5-4 win over Dallas. He posted the Predators second goal of the game and added assists on back-to-back goals for Nashville.

Craig Smith opened the scoring for Nashville his first goal of the season on the power play at 5:01 of the first period. It was his first marker since April 7th, 2012 at the Colorado Avalanche.

Sunday night’s tilt marked only the third time that the Predators have failed to earn at least a point in the standings this season (5-3-4, 14 pts).  All three of Nashville’s regulation losses this season have been shutouts. Detroit, MI – The Nashville Predators return to the Joe Louis Arena to face the Detroit Red Wings in game 4 of the Western Conference Quarterfinal, Tuesday night at 6:00pm central time.  The Predators lead the series 2-1 after surviving a furious Red Wing attack on Sunday, winning 3-2 in Detroit.

Pekka Rinne notched his 10th career postseason victory on Sunday afternoon, turning aside 41-of-43 shots. Detroit’s 43 shots were the second-highest shot total Rinne has seen in his postseason career.
