The last time these teams met on April 4th, Columbus broke a 1-1 tie with two goals in the third period to win a game in regulation at Bridgestone Arena for the first time since April 3rd, 2006.

Nashville PredatorsNashville, TN - The Nashville Predators and Detroit Red Wings meet for the final time as Central Division foes on Thursday night at Joe Louis Arena, the last of four meetings between the teams in 2012-13.

Twelve days ago at Bridgestone Arena, the Red Wings claimed their second straight win in the series, 3-0, despite a solid effort in net by Pekka Rinne, who stopped 29-of-31 shots; they also won the last time these teams met in Motown, on February 23rd (4-0).

Nashville Predators host Calgary Flames for final home game

 

Nashville PredatorsNashville, TN - The Nashville Predators and Calgary Flames complete their three-game 2012-13 slate on Tuesday night at Bridgestone Arena, with both teams having won a home game to this point. The game starts at 7:00pm.

In their most recent meeting on March 21st in the Music City, the Predators overcame allowing two shorthanded goals in a period (the first) for the first time in franchise history to claim a 5-3 victory.

Nashville Predators lose 5-2 to Vancouver Canucks Monday night

 

Nashville PredatorsNashville,TN - The Nashville Predators fell to the Vancouver Canucks tonight at the Bridgestone Arena, 5-2, as Nashville continues to have problems getting the puck in the net. Nashville had several opportunities tonight, but the puck just wouldn’t go in.

Nashville is still without the services of Paul Gaustad, Brandon Yip, Mike Fisher, Colin Wilson, Patric Hornqvist and Kevin Klein tonight, putting a lot of pressure on new players who have been added in recent days.

Nashville Predators host Vancouver Canucks at Bridgestone Arena

 

Nashville PredatorsNashville, TN - The Nashville Predators and Vancouver Canucks meet for the third and final time this season on Monday night at Bridgestone Arena with the Predators in search of their first win of the season against British Columbia’s team.

Last time these teams met on March 14th, 2013, Vancouver used five goals in the first 35 minutes of play to claim a 7-4 win at Rogers Arena. Matt Halischuk posted a goal and an assist for the Predators, while Mike Fisher, Nick Spaling and Gabriel Bourque all found the back of the net. In their first matchup of 2012-13 on February 22nd, 2013, Pekka Rinne stopped 23-of-24 shots, but the Canucks prevailed, 1-0.

Nashville Predators play Colorado Avalanche at Bridgestone Arena tonight

 

Nashville PredatorsNashville, TN – The Colorado Avalanche make their lone visit to Bridgestone Arena in 2012-13 on Tuesday night, the third and final game between them and the Nashville Predators this season and second contest in the last four games.

On Saturday in the teams’ second matinee game at Pepsi Center this season, goaltenders Pekka Rinne and Semyon Varlamov stole the show, stopping a combined 57-of-58 shots over nearly 61 minutes of play. The Predators would fall 1-0 in overtime, but earn at least a point for the fifth time in their last six trips to Denver (4-1-1 record).
