Clarksville, TN – LEAP is preparing for its 3rd Annual Youth Summer Trip to St Louis Missouri from July 25th to July 29th, 2013 and would like to extend an invitation to youth ages 11 to 18 to participate.

Youth Film Festival Deadline Approaching
Clarksville, TN – The City of Clarksville’s Department of Parks and Recreation along with the LEAP Organization have partnered to host a Youth Film Festival. The goal of the festival is to increase the self-esteem and overall sense of self-worth of the participants through a 10 week Film Production Course.
During the initial 8 weeks, students will learn Storytelling and Scriptwriting, Videography and Directing, Editing (Sound and Film), and Marketing. Clarksville Parks and Recreation offers new programs for area youth

Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Parks & Recreation hosts two programs at all the Burt-Cobb and Crow community centers in to reach help mentor and aide middle school and high school-aged members of the community.
The Burt-Cobb Community Center is home to the Dream Chasers Group Mentoring Program each Tuesday from 4:00pm to 5:30pm. Dream Chasers is focused on helping at-risk youth, ages 13-17 in a small group atmosphere. Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Parks and Recreation will begin hosting programs at all three community centers in the New Year to help reach at-risk youth and adults.
The Burt-Cobb Community Center will begin the Dream Chasers Group Mentoring Program on Tuesday, January 22nd, 2013.
