Tennessee Titans sign former New York Jets running back Shoon Greene

Nashville, TN – The Titans agreed to terms on a multi-year contract with unrestricted free agent Shonn Greene.
A 5-foot-11, 226-pound running back, Greene spent his first four NFL seasons with the New York Jets. The former third-round pick played in 61 career regular-season games with 31 starts for the Jets. His career totals include 3,423 rushing yards and 18 touchdowns on 822 carries (4.2 avg.) and 65 receptions for 482 yards. Nashville, TN – The Tennessee Titans (5-10) conclude their 2012 season this week with a home game against the Jacksonville Jaguars (2-13). Kickoff at LP Field (capacity 69,143) is scheduled for noon CT on Sunday, December 30th.
This week will mark the 37th all-time meeting between the Jaguars and Titans, with the Titans holding a 20-16 lead in the series. The three games since the start of the 2011 season have been decided by 13 total points.
