Clarksville, TN – In an effort to bring more attention to drivers that drink and drive, the Clarksville Police Department is consolidating and publishing the circumstances which lead to the DUI arrest. They are arrests, not convictions.
Police made 14 DUI arrests from February 25th thru March 4th, 2013. The blood alcohol content levels ranged from .121-.201. Two of the DUIs were repeat offenders who had been previously charged. Five of those charged involved accidents.
 Nathan Breeden, Nicholas Taylor, Victor Galloway, William Perry, Eric Barnes, Andre Higgins, Kelsey Hedges, Jeffrey Harvey, Theodore Hay, Jace Smith, Aaron Mauk, Richard Gilbreath, Dashawn Nicholson, and Peter Olson were arrested for DUI.

Clarksville Police reports Man Runs from Officers, crashes on Riverside Drive

Clarksville, TN – On February 3rd, 2012, a little after midnight, Clarksville Police Officer David Sohn was in the area of O’ Charley’s on Riverside Drive and clocked a silver Dodge pickup, using radar, traveling 86 miles per hour on Riverside Drive.
Due to the high rate of speed of the pickup, Officer Sohn radioed to see if any other vehicles in the area could get behind the vehicle and attempt a traffic stop.

Clarksville Police Reports Woman who abandoned her Son turns herself in

Clarksville, TN – On September 14th, Clarksville Police officers were called to a business on Wilma Rudolph Boulevard about a 16 year old who had been abandoned by his mother.
Warrants for Child Abuse/Neglect and Reckless Endangerment were taken out on Cheryl Simpson.

Clarksville Police Department reports Man leaving a Bar steals a Truck and then crashes into a House

Clarksville, TN – On May 28th, 2012, around 3:20am, Clarksville Police were called to 121 Bluegrass Road about a Building Supply Truck that had crashed into a house.
When officers arrived on the scene, they found a truck had left the roadway, hit a tree, continued on, crashed into a house, and then overturned in the front yard. There was a large portion of the front brick on the house torn away.

Man Charged with Vehicular Assault in Moped Hit and Run Crash

Clarksville, TN – Officer Michael Caver with the Fatal Accident Crash Team (F.A.C.T) is the lead investigator into the hit and run crash that sent Coleman Ryan Collins to Vanderbilt hospital for treatment of multiple injuries to include injury to the spleen and fractured vertebrae.
Through his investigation, Officer Caver uncovered that Collins’ motor scooter was rear-ended on Fort Campbell Blvd south of Lady Marion. The vehicle that hit the scooter had immediately left the scene, but damaged parts from the hit and run vehicle were left at the scene.

Man Trying to Buy Drugs Charged with False Report

Clarksville, TN – On December 20th, 2010, a man called 911 to report that he had been assaulted by several men at the intersection of Cedar and Reynolds Street. During the assault the men allegedly took a large sum of cash from him.
After the alleged the robbery, the man drove to the parking lot of Kroger’s on Madison Street and met with officers there.
Detective Dave Bramel took over the investigation and found out what really happened.
