With the 11-week OVC regular-season race entering its fifth week, the second-place Governors sit just percentage points ahead of the third-place Golden Eagles.

APSU’s Reed Harper and Casey Delgado named Tennessee Sports Writers Association’s Player and Pitcher of the Week

 

Tennessee Sports Writers AssociationNashville, TNAustin Peay State University shortstop Reed Harper and pitcher Casey Delgado were named the Tennessee Sports Writers Association’s Player and Pitcher of the Week honors, respectively.

Harper, of Clarksville, also was the adidas® Ohio Valley Conference Player of the Week after leading the Govs with seven RBI during the week. He had a two-run single in the Govs contest at nationally-ranked Mississippi State, Tuesday.

Austin Peay State University Governors SportsClarksville, TN – After a weekend of rest, Austin Peay State University men’s tennis team returns to action when it travels to Murray, KY, for a battle against archrival Murray State, 2:00pm, Tuesday.
