Nashville, TN - The Nashville Predators return to Bridgestone Arena Thursday night to host the Dallas Stars following their 4-1 win over the New York rangers Tuesday night.
The Predators and the Stars square off for the first of five meetings this season.
In their last meeting at Bridgestone Arena on April 12th, the Stars used two first-period goals and three goals in the final 40 minutes to defeat the Predators, 5-2.
Philadelphia Flyers vs. Nashville Predators

Nashville, TN - The Nashville Predators host the Philadelphia Flyers on Saturday night in Music City for their only appearance in Nashville for the 2013-14 season. Nashville will travel to Philly on January 16th, 2014.
These two teams played twice during the 2011-12 season, as the home team won each contest.
The Predators are coming off a 3-0 loss to Edmonton on Thursday night, despite putting 33 shots on goal. Shea Weber tied Mike Fisher for the team lead in shots on goal (five), a season high for both. Weber also left the game with an upper body injury late in the second period, and didn’t return.
Nashville, TN – Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced today that the club has recalled forward Filip Forsberg from Milwaukee (AHL) and assigned forward Taylor Beck to the Admirals.
Forsberg, 19 (8/13/94), posted six points (1g-5a) during a four-game stint with Milwaukee, reaching the scoresheet in each game. The 6-1, 186-pound winger started the season with Nashville, amassing five points (1g-4a) in 11 games, including an assist in his most recent contest, a 6-4 victory over Colorado on November 6th. The Predators have posted an 8-2-1 record with the Ostervala, Sweden native in the lineup in 2013-14.
Nashville Predators at New York Islanders

Nashville, TN – The Nashville Predators hope to break out of their scoring slump when they visit Nassau Coliseum Tuesday night to take on the New York Islanders. Nashville holds an 11-3-2 edge all-time in the series, and has garnered points in all 10 games since the start of the 2002-03 campaign. The Predators are 4-1-2 all-time at Nassau Coliseum.
These two teams last met a month ago in the Music City, when a four-goal second period, including Seth Jones’ first career goal, saw the game tied after 40 minutes. Ryan Ellis’ goal 3:23 into the third period broke the tie as the Predators took home the 3-2 win.
Nashville, TN - The Predators make the second of three trips to the Central Division’s northern-most city on Friday night. The Predators have earned at least a point in 10 of 11 games against the team formerly known as the Thrashers since 2005-06, going 8-1-2 in that span. Overall, Nashville is 4-2-3 on the road against the Thrashers/Jets.
These two teams met in Winnipeg on Oct. 20th, in the Predators first-ever regular-season trip to Winnipeg. The Predators got goals from Eric Nystrom, Patric Hornqvist and Matt Cullen, while Carter Hutton recorded his first career win, turning aside 38-of-39 shots, to defeat the Jets, 3-1.
Nashville, TN - The Nashville Predators had their chances but couldn’t get the puck past St. Louis goaltender Jaroslav Halak Saturday night at Bridgestone Arena, and the Blues defeated the Predators 6-1.
St. Louis has now won a franchise best four straight games in Smashville that dates back to February 2012 and have won seven of the last eight against Nashville.
Alexander Steen was on a tear for the Blues as he scored his ninth and tenth goals of the season, surpassing his total of eight goals he scored last year. Steen has five goals in four games and has scored in eight of the Blues nine games on the season.

The Predators have earned at least a point in nine of 10 games against the team formerly known as the Thrashers since 2005-06, going 7-1-2 in that span. Overall, Nashville is 6-2-0 against the Jets/Thrashers on home ice since the 1999-00 season, and have won three straight at Bridgestone Arena dating back to Jan. 30th, 2010.
Nashville, TN - The Nashville Predators managed to gain a point, but the lost the game 2-1 n a shoot-out against the L.A. Kings tonight at the Bridgestone Arena. Anze Kopitar went top shelf on Predators goalie Pekka Rinne to send the Nashville faithful to the exits, after not settling the scored in overtime.
Nashville elected to go first in the shoot-out and Barry Trotz would send out Craig Smith, Filip Forsberg and Matt Cullen to try and get a point for the Predators. They were all stuffed by Jonathan Quick, the Kings goalie. So it came down to Kopitar, who was able to end the game with his goal.
Nashville, TN – Nashville and Los Angeles begin their three-game 2013-14 series Thursday night at Bridgestone Arena. Nashville won two-of-three a season ago, and have won 11-of-19 games against the Kings since the beginning of the 2008-09 season (11-8-0).
The Kings are the only Western Conference team that the Predators have a winning record against on the road (14-11-3), but a losing record against at home (10-14-3).

This is the 19th all-time meeting between the clubs dating back to October 10th, 1998, when the Predators played their inaugural game at Bridgestone Arena.
The Predators are an even 8-7-(3)-0 in the previous 18 games, but have claimed five-of-seven games since the start of the 2007-08 campaign. On home ice, the Predators are unbeaten in seven games dating back to October 27th, 2000, winning five and tying twice in that span.
