Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Academy continues to lead in enriching the education for today’s students with the use of technology. CA’s recent addition is the Polar Cardio GX Training System, which tracks and provides feedback for individual fitness performance via an electronic sensor.
Each student wears a sensor, built into an adjustable belt that is worn just below the chest. The feedback from the sensor is delivered by Bluetooth connection to the student and teacher’s iPad or Macbook.

Clarksville Academy takes technology to the next level

Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Academy, a Pre-K through 12th grade private college preparatory school is excited to announce that all of its 1st-5th grade students will receive an iPad mini for the 2013-2014 school year.
This will place an iPad mini in the hands of every student in grades 1 through 5 and iPad mini learning centers in Pre-K and Kindergarten. This is the third phase in the 1:1 program originally launched in the fall 2011.

Election Day at Clarksville Academy

Clarksville, TN – On Tuesday, November 6th, Clarksville Academy’s 3rd Grade will host it’s first Presidential Election. Located in the main hallway of CA, all students Pre-K through 5th grade will visit the voting booth and present their official CA Voter’s Registration card.
After signing in, they will be escorted to the booth to make their official selections in the Presidential race. Clarksville Academy announces Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Accreditation

Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Academy, a Pre-K through 12th grade private college preparatory school, is pleased to announce that the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Council on Accreditation and School Improvement (SACS CASI) has awarded Clarksville Academy accreditation.
This group represents 27,000 public and private schools and districts across the U.S. and in 65 countries worldwide educating 15 million students.
The SACS team visited Clarksville Academy in February over a two-day period and announced their accreditation in July.
 Clarksville Academy students are immersed in technology with MacBook laptops and Apple iPads which are used for all work done in and outside of class.

Clarksville Academy takes the Next Step in Technology with iPad3

Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Academy, a Pre-K through 12th grade private college preparatory school is excited to announce that all of its 6th-8th grade students will receive the iPad 3 when school begins in the fall. This is the second phase in the 1:1 program launched last fall. Currently all 9th-12th grade students have a MacBook that is used in all their classes. The addition of iPads to the Intermediate School only enhances the technological experience at CA.
Upper School students will go into their second year of using the MacBook in their classrooms. Last year’s students loved this experience and found it helped to better prepare them for what lies ahead in college.
