Richmond, KY –women’s basketball team closes out the road portion of the 2012-13 schedule at McBrayer Arena, Saturday, when the Lady Govs face OVC East Division-leading Eastern Kentucky in a 3:00pm (CT) tip-off.
The Lady Colonels own a 25-8 mark all-time against Austin Peay in their home gym, although the Lady Govs won the last battle in Richmond, 66-63, January 2nd, 2012.

Clarksville, TN – Austin Peay and Eastern Kentucky will meet for the second time this season in a 5:15pm, Monday contest. The rematch will come just two weeks following the Lady Govs 66-63 victory in Richmond, January 2nd.
Both teams return to action following Saturday losses. Austin Peay dropped a 74-73 decision to Jacksonville State on a buzzer-beating game-winning shot. Eastern Kentucky fell 68-58 at Morehead State for its second OVC loss.

The Lady Govs opened the 2012 portion of their schedule with a 66-63 victory at Eastern Kentucky, Monday, to conclude an OVC-opening, three-game road trip.
Austin Peay returns to the Dunn Center seeking to restore its home court advantage after posting a 1-4 mark at home during the 2011 portion of its schedule. Murray State will be concluding its own OVC opening three-game road trip with Saturday’s visit to the Dunn Center. The Racers dropped a 76-51 decision at Eastern Illinois, Monday, and fell to 1-9 on the road this season.

Richmond, KY – A strong start made all the different aswomen’s basketball team rang in the New Year with a 66-63 Ohio Valley Conference victory against Eastern Kentucky, Monday night, at McBrayer Arena.
Austin Peay (4-12, 1-2 OVC) exhibited its full court press early on in the contest and it clearly made a difference at both ends of the court. Offensively, the Lady Govs broke out to a seven point lead in the opening five minutes and led by as many as 13 points in the first period.

Clarksville, TN – Austin Peay wraps its Ohio Valley Conference-opening three-game road trip – and ushers in 2012 – with a 6:00pm (CT), Monday contest against Eastern Kentucky at McBrayer Arena. The two teams enter the week on opposite ends of the OVC standings.
Austin Peay fell to 0-2 in OVC play after a 74-67 loss at Morehead State, Saturday, and will be playing its third game in five days. Eastern Kentucky improved to 2-0 in conference action with its 79-59 win against Tennessee State, Saturday. The two teams split last season’s series with the home team winning each contest.

Morehead, KY – Austin Peay continues its Ohio Valley Conference-opening three-game road trip against Morehead State with a 1:45pm (CT), Saturday contest at Johnson Arena. The Lady Govs saw their current losing streak reach three games after suffering a 95-81 OVC-opening loss at Tennessee State, Saturday.
The Lady Govs senior duo of Whitney Hanley and Jasmine Rayner scored 22 and 21 points, respectively.
