Riverfest 2012 September 7th and 8th
Clarksville, TN – Join the City of Clarksville, Budweiser, and Agero along the banks of the Cumberland River as they celebrate Clarksville’s river heritage at the 25th annual Riverfest Celebration, September 7th and 8th, 2012. This FREE, two day music and arts festival features four stages of a variety of local, regional and nationally-known entertainers, delicious food, and fun for the entire family.
The music kicks off Friday night at 5:00pm with a great lineup of Christian performers on the Mary’s the Music Store Stage to include MIKESCHAIR who will perform at 9:00pm. Eliminator and Little Queen will take to the Bud Light Stage on Friday night, followed by the ultimate Journey tribute band, Chain Reaction.

Clarksville Gas and Water Department reports North First Street Water Outage

Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Gas and Water construction crews have turned off water service North First Street from McClure Street to Marion Street to repair a water main leak. Work is expected to be complete and water restored within 2-3 hours.
The road is open to traffic.
Spring Market at the Smith Trahern Mansion Friday, April 20th
Clarksville, TN – UT Montgomery County Extension Office is having their Spring Market at the Smith Trahern Mansion this Friday, April 20th. Country Eggs, Strawberries, Honey and so many fine crafts will be at the Market. The market will be from 9:30am until 1:30pm.

Clarksville Police have Two men in custody after they robbed a woman of $1,000
Clarksville, TN – On March 8th, around 6:30pm, a 21 year old woman told Clarksville Police she had been robbed by three men at the intersection of McClure Street and Spring Street.
According to the victim, she was walking from a bar on McClure Street, a black vehicle pulled up next to her with three men inside, one of them pointed a gun at her and demanded money. She gave them approximately $1,000 and the vehicle drove away.

Clarksville Gas and Water Department announces Riverside Drive Lane Closure
Monday, January 30th, 2012
Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Gas and Water has closed the outer northbound lane of Riverside Drive from McClure Street to North Spring Street for fire hydrant replacement work. A construction crew is working near the Riverside Drive and McClure Street intersection.
The job is expected to be complete and the lane reopened by 2:00pm this afternoon.

Jenny runs her business out of Ashland City, and works through the Health Department with that endeavor. She’s also done work here at the domestic kitchen at the Montgomery County UT Extension office permitted through the Department of Agriculture.
