Clarksville Gas and Water Department reports North First Street Water Outage

Clarksville Gas and Water DepartmentClarksville, TN – Clarksville Gas and Water construction crews have turned off water service North First Street from McClure Street to Marion Street to repair a water main leak. Work is expected to be complete and water restored within 2-3 hours.

The road is open to traffic.

Clarksville Police have Two men in custody after they robbed a woman of $1,000

 

Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – On March 8th, around 6:30pm, a 21 year old woman told Clarksville Police she had been robbed by three men at the intersection of McClure Street and Spring Street.

According to the victim, she was walking from a bar on McClure Street, a black vehicle pulled up next to her with three men inside, one of them pointed a gun at her and demanded money. She gave them approximately $1,000 and the vehicle drove away.

Clarksville Gas and Water Department announces Riverside Drive Lane Closure

 

Monday, January 30th, 2012

Clarksville Gas and Water DepartmentClarksville, TN – Clarksville Gas and Water has closed the outer northbound lane of Riverside Drive from McClure Street to North Spring Street for fire hydrant replacement work. A construction crew is working near the Riverside Drive and McClure Street intersection.

The job is expected to be complete and the lane reopened by 2:00pm this afternoon.

UT Extension OfficeClarksville, TN – “Things You Need to Know to Make a Food Product For Resale.” will be on Friday, January 20th, at the Smith Trahern Mansion (1st and McClure Street Clarksville, TN) from 10:00am until 1:00pm. Small Business Woman, Jenny Chandler will be the lead speaker for this event.

Jenny runs her business out of Ashland City, and works through the Health Department with that endeavor. She’s also done work here at the domestic kitchen at the Montgomery County UT Extension office permitted through the Department of Agriculture.
