Clarksville’s Riverfest to hold 1st Annual 52 Hour Film Festival presented by CDE Lightband this Saturday

 

2014 RiverfestClarksville, TN – Clarksville’s Riverfest Celebration has added a new addition to it’s two-day music and arts festival scheduled for September 5th and 6th, 2014 at McGregor Park. The first annual 52-Hour Film Festival, presented by the Clarksville Department of Electricity, will take place Saturday, September 6th.

The 52 Hour Film Festival will put filmmakers from all over Middle Tennessee in a competition for a chance to win big!

2014 RiverfestClarksville, TN – The 27th annual Riverfest Celebration begins tomorrow night, September 5th and continues Saturday, September 6th, 2014 on the banks of the Cumberland River at McGregor Park. Riverfest, a celebration of Clarksville’s river heritage, is brought to you by the City of Clarksville, Miller Lite and Agero.

The free two day music and arts festival features three stages of a variety of local, regional and nationally-known entertainers, delicious food, and fun for the entire family.

Clarksville’s Riverfest Adventure Zone needs Volunteers

 

2014 RiverfestClarksville, TN – Clarksville’s Riverfest Festival is in need of volunteers for the Adventure Zone this weekend. If you have the time please, volunteer for one or more of more of the following shifts at the festival.

Time slots: 9:45am–1:00pm; 12:45pm–4:00pm; and 3:45pm–7:00pm.

This area is located behind the O’Charley’s in Clarksville on Riverside Drive.

Clarksville’s Riverfest Regatta Registration Deadline is Wednesday, September 3rd

 

2014 RiverfestClarksville, TN – The registration deadline for the 8th Annual Riverfest Regatta is quickly approaching!  Participants can enter as a group (up to 8 people per entry) or as an individual.

The Riverfest Regatta is not your typical boat race. The boats racing down the Cumberland River Saturday morning, September 6th, will be made of cardboard or plastic bottles and a few other approved materials.

Riverfest 2014’s Recycled Fashion Show to take place this Saturday, September 6th

 

2014 RiverfestClarksville, TN – The popular Recycled Fashion Show, sponsored by Bi-County Waste Management, returns to Clarksville’s Riverfest, the two-day music and arts festival scheduled for September 5th and 6th, 2014 at McGregor Park.

The show is scheduled to take place Saturday, September 6th, 2014 at 4:00pm in the Adventure Zone, and is intended to educate the general public about recycling in a fun and exciting way.

Clarksville’s Riverfest Regatta takes place Saturday, September 6th at the McGregor Park’s Boat Ramp

 

2014 RiverfestClarksville, TN – The Riverfest Regatta begins Saturday, September 6th, 2014 at 10:00am at McGregor Park Boat Ramp. The Regatta is sponsored by U.S. Bank.

This year marks the 8th year for the annual Riverfest Regatta, where participants build their own boats made of cardboard or plastic bottles and race them on the Cumberland River. The heats are timed with the fastest time being declared the winner in the respective classes. The course is 100 yards long.
