December 28, 2012 |
Clarksville, TN – A group of very special USO soldiers and their families from Fort Campbell recently enjoyed a delicious holiday meal and a visit from a jolly old elf while celebrating a wonderful cause.
As the soldiers, families and children (approximately 130 people total) arrived at the Wyatt-Johnson Subaru-Hyundai-Mazda dealership, they were greeted by Santa’s helpers (aka Wyatt Johnson employees) and were served a traditional Christmas meal catered by Margie Johnson. The group feasted on ham, turkey with all of the fixings, and a variety of delicious desserts.

Clarksville, TN – Perched on a hay bale, Clarksville’s very own Pumpkin Lady supervised an assembly line of workers ranging in age from 6 to 60 as they unloaded and carefully placed the first shipment of 617 pumpkins at St. Bethlehem United Methodist Church (UMC) on September 30th.
For Kitty Seay, each one of these pumpkins is precious cargo, because each one of them holds the power to change lives.
