Clarksville, TN – The horrible nightmare continues for Austin Peay’s Lady Govs and just doesn’t seem like it’s ever going to end.
This time Tennessee Tech was the culprit in handing the Lady Govs their eighth-straight loss and the 68-65 defeat Monday night further damaged the hopes Austin Peay has of even earning a spot in the season-ending Ohio Valley Conference Tournament.

Austin Peay Lady Govs Basketball starts second half of the OVC against Tennesssee State Lady Tigers

Clarksville, TN – Austin Peay will start the second half of its Ohio Valley Conference schedule against Tennessee State in a 5:15pm, Saturday contest at the Dunn Center. Both teams have struggled since opening the OVC schedule against each other – Austin Peay sits in ninth place one game behind eighth-place Tennessee State.
The Lady Govs have lost their last four outings, including both ends of last week’s road trip through Illinois. The Lady Tigers went 1-1 in their two contests last week, including an overtime home win against Morehead State. Tennessee State won the OVC opener between the two teams, 95-81 on December 29th, in a game that saw Austin Peay whistled for 32 fouls which led to 48 TSU free throws.

Austin Peay State University Lady Govs Basketball falls to Florida A&M 86-77

Clarksville, TN – Finding itself facing another double-digit halftime deficit, the Austin Peay women’s basketball team never panicked.
Unfortunately for APSU, however, neither did Florida A&M.
Despite a furious comeback, the Lady Govs were unable to withstand 13 made 3-pointers, falling to the Lady Rattlers 86-77 in the Dunn Center Tuesday.
