Tennessee Fish and Wildlife Commission holds last Meeting of 2012


Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency - TWRANashville, TN – The Tennessee Fish and Wildlife Commission held its final meeting of 2012 in a special one day meeting on Friday, November 30th.

The commission heard from Mike Patterson, a Middle Tennessee sportsman, voicing concerns about planned restrictions by the U.S. Corps of Engineers allowing boating access below dams along the Cumberland River. Missing Person


Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – The Clarksville Police Department is asking for your help in locating a missing person. On May 16th, 2011, around noon, Spencer Fenton told his mother that he was going to the back yard to clean up after their dog.

That was the last time, the family saw or heard from him.

Book Salesman Making Bucks Altering Checks


Clarksville Police DepartmentBuyer Beware!! Little did three woman know that the items they purchased from a book vendor would cost them so much.  A book vendor visited two different daycare centers around town and offered a variety of items for purchase. 

But, the unscrupulous salesman seemed to have more than book sales in mind. Each of the three victims used checks to purchase items from the salesman.  The checks were written for $8.00, $11.00, and $15.00. By the time the checks cleared the bank, they had been altered to the amounts of $800.00, $1100.00, and $1500.00 respectively.
