Clarksville, TN - Hunters and lovers of wild game are invited to one of the “tastiest” events of the year, as the Montgomery County Conservation Club hosts it’s annual, Lawrence Suiter Wild Game Supper, January 19th.

Riverfest Lighted Boat Parade

Clarksville, TN – On Saturday night, September 8th, sit back and watch as the Cumberland River is illuminated in a majestic display of floating lights during the 5th Annual Riverfest Lighted Boat Parade. Don’t want to just be a bystander in the show? Enter your boat in the festivities and you may even come home with an award!
Judging will take place at the McGregor Park courtesy boat dock. Locations throughout McGregor Park during the Riverfest Celebration will offer public viewing. In the event of inclement weather, boats will be judged at the Montgomery County Conservation Club and boats will not be expected to travel the parade route. Award results will be announced onstage after the completion of the parade.

Clarksville, TN – Join the City of Clarksville, Budweiser, and Agero along the banks of the Cumberland River as they celebrate Clarksville’s river heritage at the 25th annual Riverfest Celebration, September 7th and 8th, 2012. This FREE, two day music and arts festival features four stages of a variety of local, regional and nationally-known entertainers, delicious food, and fun for the entire family.
The music kicks off Friday night at 5:00pm with a great lineup of Christian performers on the Mary’s the Music Store Stage to include MIKESCHAIR who will perform at 9:00pm. Eliminator and Little Queen will take to the Bud Light Stage on Friday night, followed by the ultimate Journey tribute band, Chain Reaction.

Boater’s Safety Course to be held on Saturday, April 21st
The Montgomery County Conservation Club is pleased to announce a Boating Safety Course presented by the Coast Guard Auxiliary.

Clarksville Fire Rescue Department’s Fire Boat performs rescue during initial Voyage

Clarksville, TN – The maiden voyage of the Clarksville Fire Rescue Department’s new boat resulted in a rescue.
The new boat, purchased through a grant awarded to the City, was on its first training cruise on the river. Deputy Chief Howell Albright, Assistant Chief Michael Papke, Assistant Chief Randy Ellis, and Captain Mark Chandler were aboard and discovered a father with his two sons who were stranded on their boat last Thursday afternoon. «Read the rest of this article»

4th Annual Lighted Boat Parade at Riverfest 2011

Clarksville, TN – Sit back and watch as the Cumberland River is illuminated in a majestic display of floating lights during the 4th Annual Riverfest Lighted Boat Parade Saturday night, September 10th. The boats leave the Marina Basin at 7:00pm and procede down the parade route past McGregor Park and the Riverfest Celebration.
