Nashville, TN – The Tennessee Titans (2-12) lost to the New York Jets (3-22) at LP Field Sunday, 16-11. It was their eighth straight loss and 11th loss in their last 12 games.
The Jets rallied in the fourth quarter to take the lead on a 1 yard run by Chris Ivory for a touchdown. The drive was extended on an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty against Titans’ middle linebacker Wesley Woodyard. The penalty gave New York a first down instead of a 4th and 19.

Nashville, TN – The Houston Texans (6-6) jumped all over the Tennessee Titans (2-10) Sunday rolling on to a 45-21 win. The Texans had the game well in hand at the half, up 24-0.
Former Titan quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick had a career day for Houston connecting on 24 of 33 pass attempts for 358 yards, a Texan franchise record 6 touchdowns and a passer rating of 147.5.
Fitzpatrick led Houston down the field on the opening drive where he connected with tight end Ryan Griffin for an 8 yard touchdown.
Nashville, TN – The Tennessee Titans (2-9) fell to the Philadelphia Eagles (8-3) Sunday at Lincoln Financial Field 43-24. The Titans day got off to a rough start when the Eagle’s Josh Huff took the opening kickoff 107 yards for a touchdown.
On their first drive, Philadelphia scored again on a 4 yard run by Darren Sproles. Later, Cody Parkey connected on a 36 yard field goal which gave the Eagles a 17-0 lead in the 1st quarter. The slow start was something Tennessee just could not overcome.

The Titans and Eagles have met on only 10 prior occasions in the regular season, beginning in 1972. The Eagles won the first six matchups, while the Titans have swept the past four, including a 31-13 win at Philadelphia in 2006 and a 37-19 victory at LP Field in 2010.

Pittsburgh took the lead when quarterback Ben Roethlisberger hit Antonio Brown for a 12 yard strike. Tennessee would get the ball back with a chance to tie or take the lead. However, after getting one first down, the Titans were forced to punt the ball back to the Steelers.
