Nashville, TN – This week the national spotlight descends upon Tennessee as the Titans (4-5) host the first-place Indianapolis Colts (6-3) on Thursday Night Football. Kickoff at LP Field (capacity 69,143) is scheduled for 7:25pm CST on Thursday, November 14th.
The two clubs are separated in the AFC South standings by two games. They play twice in the next three weeks, with the rematch scheduled for Sunday, December 1st at Indianapolis.
Nashville, TN – The Jacksonville Jaguars came to LP Field looking for their first win of the season and they got it beating the Tennessee Titans Sunday 29-27. It was a bad omen for the Titans when Chris Johnson fumbled the ball on the first play of the game. Jaguars linebacker Paul Posluszny recovered the ball at the Tennessee 19.
Jacksonville would then run Maurice Jones-Drew three times in a row. On his third carry, Jones-Drew ran off left guard for 6 yards and the score. The Jaguars never looked back.

San Francisco 49ers (4-2) vs. Tennessee Titans (3-3)

Nashville, TN – The Tennessee Titans (3-3) host the defending NFC Champion San Francisco 49ers (4-2) this week. The late afternoon kickoff at LP Field (capacity 69,143) is scheduled for 3:05pm CDT on Sunday, October 20th.
The contest has been designated as the team’s annual “Code Blue” game. Fans are encouraged to wear Titans blue to work and school during the week, as well as to the game Sunday, and all fans in attendance at LP Field will receive Code Blue T-shirts. This is the sixth consecutive season the Titans have held a Code Blue game.
Nashville, TN – The Tennessee Titans lose to the Seattle Seahawks Sunday 20-13 at CenturyLink Field despite several mistakes by the Seahawks. For the second week in a row, the Titans offense faltered and failed to sustain drives.
The Titans only touchdown came on an odd play with two seconds remaining in the second quarter. Seattle was on the Tennessee 4 yard line to kick a field goal. Chris Maragos fumbles the snap and puts the ball on the ground. Titan’s Jason McCourty picks the ball up and goes 77 yards for the score.

Nashville, TN – Two Ryan Fitzpatrick interceptions late in the fourth quarter seals the Tennessee Titans fate as they lose Sunday 26-17 to the Kansas City Chiefs. The Chiefs (5-0) are having their best start since 2003.
It was an up and down rollercoaster ride for the Titans (3-2). After the Tennessee defense stops Kansas City on their first drive, Damian Williams muffs the punt and Chief’s Marcus Cooper recovers it for a touchdown.

Nashville, TN – The Tennessee Titans beat the New York Jets Sunday afternoon at LP Field 38-13. The win is overshadowed by the injury to quarterback Jake Locker.
Early in the third quarter, Locker goes back to pass and just gets the ball off before getting hit by Jet’s defensive linemen Muhammad Wilkerson, then gets hit by defensive end Quinton Coples. Lockers goes to the ground grabbing his right hip with 11:14 left in the third quarter. He gave the fans a thumbs up as he was carted off the field.
