Nashville, TN – The Tennessee Titans re-signed Defensive End Dave Ball today. A seven-year veteran of the league, Ball has spent the past four seasons with the Titans while totaling 51 games played, 15.5 sacks, 203 tackles and 43 quarterback pressures during his tenure with the club.

New York, NY – The Indianapolis Colts own the No. 1 pick of the 2012 National Football League Draft, which will be held on April 26th-28th.
The order of the first round of the 2012 Draft was announced by the NFL.
The NFL Draft will kick off in primetime for the third consecutive year. The first round will be held on Thursday, April 26th at 8:00pm ET. Nashville, TN – Entering the final week of the regular season, the Tennessee Titans (8-7) are still alive in the playoff race. They travel this week to face the AFC South Champion Houston Texans (10-5) at Reliant Stadium (capacity 71,054). Kickoff is scheduled for noon CST on New Year’s Day, Sunday, January 1st.
In the Titans’ Week 7 loss to the Texans, they fell behind early and were never able to make up lost ground. The Texans scored 27 unanswered points before quarterback Matt Hasselbeck completed a five-yard touchdown pass to tight end Jared Cook for Tennessee’s only score.

The Final Horne: Austin Peay Govs not hitting free throws, Lady Govs trying to come together and NFL picks
Clarksville, TN - More than you think went right for Austin Peay in its 77-67 loss to Belmont at the Dunn Center Wednesday night. The Govs shot well enough, making 45.6 percent of their shots to Belmont’s 46.9 percent.
Austin Peay actually made more baskets over all, 26 to Belmont’s 23 and just one less 3-pointer, five for the Govs to the Bruins’ six. APSU even won the rebounded battle 36-35, had one less than Belmont’s 18 turnovers, was outscored in the paint just 26-24 and actually won second-chance points 14-6.
Tennessee Titans (7-6) at Indianapolis Colts (0-13)
Nashville, TN – The Tennessee Titans (7-6) begin a three-game stretch against teams from the AFC South this week, as they travel to take on the Indianapolis Colts (0-13). Kickoff at Lucas Oil Stadium (capacity 63,000) is scheduled for noon CST on Sunday, December 18th.
This will be the second of two yearly meetings between the Titans and Colts. In the first matchup at LP Field on October 30th, the Titans turned a pair of interceptions into two touchdowns by Nate Washington en route to a 27-10 victory. Tennessee’s other touchdown came after Patrick Bailey blocked a Colts punt and Jason McCourty recovered the ball in the end zone.
Despite their loss last week against the New Orleans Saints, the Titans remain in the playoff chase with three games remaining on the schedule. In 12 all-time meetings between the two franchises, the Titans lead the series 7-4-1, including a current four-game winning streak that dates back to 1996. Most recently, the Titans won a Monday night game at the Louisiana Superdome by a final score of 31-14 on September 24th, 2007. The Titans and Saints also have squared off in the final week of the preseason in each of the last two years.
