Tennessee Titans 2013 Schedule

Nashville, TN – The Tennessee Titans open the 2013 season at the Pittsburgh Steelers on September 8th, and they will be featured in a November primetime game against division rival Indianapolis Colts.

Tennessee opens its home schedule on September 22nd against the San Diego Chargers and will host the NFC Champion San Francisco 49ers on October 20th.

In 20 all-time meetings between the two clubs, the Titans hold a 14-6 advantage, including a 23-22 win in the 2011 regular season finale (January 1st). Tennessee Titans add Center Chris Morris to roster

Nashville, TN – The Tennessee Titans added NFL veteran center/guard Chris Morris to the roster today.

A veteran of five NFL seasons, Morris (6-4, 305) has played in 51 NFL games, including 11 starts. He played four seasons with the Oakland Raiders from 2006-09. In his final year with the Raiders he played in all 16 games and started 10 contests (4 at center, 6 at guard).

In 2010, he played in four games for the Carolina Panthers. Last season, he spent time in training camp with both the New England Patriots and the Detroit Lions, but did not appear in any regular season games.

Morris was originally drafted by the Raiders in the seventh round of the 2006 NFL Draft from Michigan State.

Tennessee Titans are Set for the Start of Training Camp

Nashville, TN – The Titans are scheduled to begin training camp this week at Baptist Sports Park in Nashville. Rookies and quarterbacks reported on Tuesday, July 24th, and they will be joined by the remaining veterans on Friday, July 27th.

Fans of the Titans can get their first glimpse of the 2012 squad on Sunday, July 29th, the first of 13 total training camp practices that will be free for the public to attend. Nashville, TN – The Tennessee Titans own the 20th overall selection and a total of seven picks in the 2012 NFL Draft, which begins April 26th and lasts seven rounds over three days.

The NFL will conduct the draft from Radio City Music Hall in New York City, while Titans personnel will be headquartered at Baptist Sports Park in Nashville.

Tennessee Titans Sign Defensive End Kamerion Wimbley to Multi-Year Contract

Nashville, TN – The Tennessee Titans agreed to terms with defensive end Kamerion Wimbley on a multi-year contract.

Nashville, TN – When Mike Munchak was hired as head coach of the Tennessee Titans on February 7th, 2011, an uncertain landscape awaited him. The franchise had only recently parted ways with the only head coach in its Tennessee history, and team owner K.S. “Bud” Adams, Jr. had already made the decision to begin anew at the quarterback position.

But the foremost concern on the mind of team management, players and fans alike was whether or not there would even be a football season.
