Clarksville Gas and Water Reports Section of Golf Club Lane Closed

Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Gas and Water construction crews have closed Golf Club Lane from Drinkard Drive to Old Ashland City Road until 1:30pm this afternoon. Crews are replacing approximately twenty feet of sewer main on Golf Club closing all lanes of traffic.

Motorists will be detoured to Drinkard Drive and Old Ashland City Road.

Clarksville Police reports Truck runs Off the Road and Crashes into Mailbox

Clarksville, TN – On September 13th, 2012 around 5:00pm, David Edmonds, 42, of Clarksville, was driving a  2001 Chevy S-10 South on Old Ashland City Road.

Clarksville Gas and Water Department reports Old Ashland City Road and Madison Street Water Outage

Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Gas and Water has turned off water service on the west end of Old Ashland City Road to Golf Club Lane and on Madison Street from Golf Club Lane to the Madison Street Plaza.

Construction crews are repairing a four-inch water main leak on Old Ashland City Road and expect the work to be complete and water restored by approximately 4:00pm.

The roads are open to traffic.

Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Gas and Water has closed a short section of Old Ashland City Road near the Golf Club Lane intersection until 3:30pm this afternoon. Construction crews are performing natural gas line maintenance and inspection.

Motorists will be detoured around the job site.

Clarksville Police investigating 16 Year Old’s Claim of being shot while walking down Old Ashland City Road

Clarksville, TN – On February 18th, 2012, around 9:40am, Police were called to Gateway Medical Center in reference to a 16 year old at the emergency room that had been shot.

According to the 16 year old male, after spending the night with some friends, he was walking on Old Ashland City Road and sustained a gunshot wound to his lower back. Clarksville, TN – As of 1:30pm, 6,000 CDE customers are without power. Circuits still down in the New Providence are as follows: Darlene Drive, Zachary Drive, Charlemagne Blvd, Fort Campbell Blvd from Fountain Bleau to West Concord Road, and West Concord Road.

There are two circuits still down in the Hilldale area; Paradise Hill Road from Thompkins to Heitts, Oriole Circle, Gary Hills, Golf Club Lane from Thompkins to Madison Street, Old Ashland City Road from Golf Club Lane to Alma Lane, Memorial Drive from Madison Street to Haynes Street, Haynes Street, Eastern Hills Drive, Valley Drive, Uffleman Drive. «Read the rest of this article»
