2016 Clarksville-Montgomery County Veterans Day Parade

 

Clarksville, TN – Clarksville-Montgomery County gathered together in front of the Montgomery County Historic Courthouse this past Saturday, November 5th to honor our veterans, as well as those who are still serving their country.

The day started off at 9:00am with a Veterans Day Ceremony. Veterans Service Organization director Frank Mir gave the opening remarks followed by the 101st Airborne Division Honor Guard Posting the Colors.

Montgomery County announces Billy Ray Cyrus to Ride in Veterans Day Parade

 

Montgomery County Government TennesseeMontgomery County, TN – Montgomery County Government is pleased to announce that country singer Billy Ray Cyrus will be riding in the Veterans Day Parade on Saturday, November 5th, as a guest of Appleton’s Harley Davidson.

Cyrus, along with a special guest of his, will be riding with a group of motorcyclists in the parade to support Operation Home Front.

Campbell Crossing Receives 2013 RCI Unsung Hero Awards

 

Campbell CrossingNashville, TN – Campbell Crossing, Lend Lease’s privatized military housing community located on Fort Campbell, is honored to announce it was selected as a 2013 Residential Communities Initiative (RCI) Unsung Hero Award recipient.

Awarded by the Department of the Army, U.S. Public/ Private Initiatives Division, the RCI Unsung Hero Award is given to teams and individuals who go beyond their normal outstanding service to take care of Soldiers and their families who defend our country.

USAA Holiday Tree Lighting Celebration at McAuliffe Hall

 

Morale, Welfare and RecreationFort Campbell, KY – Bundle up the children with hats and mittens and join your friends and neighbors as we illuminate the lights on the Installation’s giant tree at McAuliffe Hall, on Indiana Ave. Fort Campbell Family Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) will host the USAA Tree Lighting Ceremony on Tuesday, December 7th. This event is perfect to get into the holiday spirit offering festive warm beverages, holiday music and Family fun for all.

The event will begin at 4:45pm with comments from a 101st Airborne Division Command representative. Following the caroling by all in attendance, the Jolly Old Elf himself will be making a special guest appearance to learn what all the good boys and girls hope to find under their trees this year. Fort Campbell’s Tree Lighting Ceremony is sponsored by USAA, Mugshots by Dana, Operation Home Front, TDOT, and Mathews Nissan. Mentioning of sponsors does not imply Government endorsement.
