Starting June 1st, S.T.E.P.S will be looking for businesses, clubs, groups, and organizations to place S.T.E.P.S youth created collection boxes around Clarksville til August 3rd.
Clarksville, TN – The first day of the 2013 Riverfest Festival kicked off with absolutely glorious weather. The sky was clear, and the temperatures while warm were not excessive. Festival Attendence started out a little slow but grew steadily throughout the evening culminating in the concerts by Tina Brown, Backroad Brigade and, Skynyrd Lynard on the Miller Lite stage; and Sidewalk Prophets on the First Baptist Church stage.
The festival gets bigger and better every year, and this year is no exception. On Saturday Riverfest will kickoff with the Riverfest Regatta, with the second day of the festival officially opening shortly thereafter and running until 11:00pm. Among the attractions for Saturday are the recycled fashion show various displays by area dance studios, clubs, martial arts schools, and live musical entertainment all day long.
Johnny T will perform on the Gateway Realty Stage at 9:30pm Saturday. Country recording artist Phil Vassar will take the stage at 9:00pm as the headlining performer on the Miller Stage on Saturday.All concerts are free and open to the public.

2013 Rivers and Spires Festival | April 18th-20th | Clarksville, TN
Clarksville, TN – The 11th annual Rivers and Spires Festival will be begin Thursday April 18th and continue through Saturday, April 20th. The streets of Historic Downtown Clarksville will be lined with food vendors, arts and crafts, and kids’ activities.
There will be over 100 acts performing all three days on five separate stages. Music, art, food, there is something at Rivers and Spires for everyone to enjoy. And the truly great thing is that all the concerts and activities are free.

Clarksville, TN – The next meeting of the Clarksville (TN) Civil War Roundtable will be on Wednesday, April 17th, 2013 at the Bone & Joint Center, 980 Professional Park Drive, right across the street from Gateway Medical Center. This is just off Dunlop Lane and Holiday Drive and only a few minutes east of Governor’s Square mall.
The meeting begins at 7:00 pm and is always open to the public. Members please bring a friend or two – new recruits are always welcomed.

Chicago, IL – Individual game tickets for the group matches of 2012 Men’s Olympic Qualifying in Nashville, TN and Carson, CA, will go on sale starting at 10:00am local time on Wednesday, January 25th.
The U.S. U-23 MNT will play all of its group matches at LP Field in Nashville. The team was drawn into Group A in the 2012 CONCACAF Olympic Qualifying Tournament and opens group play against Cuba on March 22nd at 8:00pm CT. Olympic Qualifying Tournament to Take Place from March 22nd-April 2nd; Top Two Teams Qualify for 2012 Olympic Games in London Next Summer
New York, NY – U.S. Soccer and the Confederation of North, Central American and Caribbean Association Football (CONCACAF) announced today that the United States will host the 2012 Men’s Olympic qualifying tournament from March 22nd to April 2nd in Nashville, TN; Carson, CA; and Kansas City, KS. The tournament will determine both of the confederation’s representatives at the 2012 Olympic Games in London.
