Clarksville Fishermen Win APSU Governors Bass Tournament

 

APSU Governors Bass TournamentParis Landing, TN - The team of Larry Ethridge and Steve Richerson, of Clarksville, were declared the winners of the 19th Annual Governors Bass Tournament, held Saturday, at Kentucky Lake, with launching occurring from Paris Landing State Park.

A total of 282 boats were registered for $13,000 in prize money.

APSU Governors Bass Tournament kicks off Saturday, May 11th

 

Clarksville, TN - The 19th annual Austin Peay State University Governors Bass Tournament is this Saturday, May 11th.

This year’s competition will be held at Kentucky Lake, with registration and boat launching from Paris Landing State Park in Buchanan Tennessee. Last season’s tourney drew more than 250 boats.

Tennessee State Parks 75th AnniversaryNashville, TN – Treat mom to a special day out at one of eight Tennessee State Park restaurants this Mother’s Day – a perfect time for family and friends to enjoy great food in a beautiful setting.

Tennessee State Parks is pleased to announce that all eight state park restaurants will be serving a delicious Mother’s Day Buffet on Sunday, May 12th. The buffet will start at 11:00am and continue until closing. Selections at each Park may vary.

Tennessee Titans Caravan rolled into Clarksville Tuesday

 

Tennessee TitansClarksville, TN – The Tennessee Titans rolled into Clarksville on Tuesday with linebacker Akeem Ayers; defensive tackle Jurrell Casey; and Mike Keith, the voice of the Tennessee Titans on the second day of the 2013 Titans Caravan. The Caravan stopped in Clarksville at the Lowe’s Drive Krogers.

The second day of the Caravan began with private stops in White Bluff at the White Bluff Elementary School, in Waverly, TN at the Waverly Junior High School, in Camden at the Briarwood Elementary School. Two public stops were also on the agenda for the second day of the Caravan at Clifty Farm Country Ham in Paris, TN and finishing up at the Kroger store stop in Clarksville.
