Parks after Dark kicks off with Concerts in the Park

clarksvilletnBe sure to mark your calendars for Saturday, May 16 for the first Concerts in the Park of the season.  Concerts in the Park is part of City of Clarksville’s Parks after Dark series which features free concerts, movies and theatre the months of May through August.  The concert begins at 6p.m. at McGregor Park River Walk.  This month’s concert features the Hype of Jazz Concert Band.  Bring your family, picnic baskets and lawn chairs for a night of mellow jazz music under the stars. Community Centers set holiday hours for President’s Day

All Clarksville Community Centers will be operating on holiday hours on Monday, February 16th, in observance of Presidents Day.   The centers will be open from noon-7:00p.m.  Regular hours will resume on Tuesday, February 17th.

All regularly scheduled afternoon and evening activities will still take place. For community center hours, please contact the Parks and Recreation Department at 645-7476 or visit www.cityofclarksville.com/parksandrec.
