Clarksville Gas and Water reports Tiny Town Road Lane Closure

Clarksville Gas and Water Department - CGWClarksville, TN – Clarksville Gas and Water has closed the outer eastbound lane of Tiny Town Road from Peachers Mill Road to Broadripple Drive for natural gas line maintenance.

The road is passable; however, motorists are advised to slow down and obey directional signs and flaggers when approaching the work zone.

The work is anticipated to be finished and all lanes reopened by approximately 3:30pm.

Clarksville Gas and Water reports Dale Terrace Water Outage and Lane Closure

Clarksville Gas and Water Department - CGWClarksville, TN – Clarksville Gas and Water has turned off water service on Dale Terrace from Peachers Mill Road to Pollard Road to repair a water main leak. The water outage will also affect Benton Court and area residents may also experience low water pressure during the work.

A section of Dale Terrace will also be closed to one lane between Sue Drive and Pollard Road. The work is anticipated to be finished by approximately 2:00pm.

Clarksville Parks and Recreation's Movies in the ParkClarksville, TN – Movies in the Park, the City’s free, outdoor movie series, continues Saturday, July 12th, 2014 at Heritage Park, 1241 Peachers Mill Road, Clarksville. ‘Monsters University,’ rated G, and brought to you by Altra Federal Credit Union, will be shown at approximately 8:30pm (dependent on sunset).

Monsters University is about Mike, a young monster who dreams of being scary when he grows up. When he grows up, Mike enrolls at Monsters University as a first year scare major. There, he meets Sulley, someone he’s not exactly friends with.

Clarksville Police Department releases Alcoholic Beverage Commission Operation results from June 19th, 2014

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – On Thursday, June 19th, 2014 Agents of the Special Operations Unit (SOU) at the Clarksville Police Department conducted Alcohol Beverage Control (ABC) operations targeting sales of alcohol to underage persons.

Clarksville Parks and Recreation's Movies in the ParkClarksville, TN – Movies in the Park, the City’s free, outdoor movie series, continues Saturday, June 28th, at Heritage Park, 1241 Peachers Mill Road, Clarksville. ‘The Wizard of Oz,’ rated G, and brought to you by Realtor, Thryce Lindsey, will be shown at approximately 8:30pm (dependent on sunset).

The Wizard of Oz is about a girl named Dorothy Gale who is swept away by a tornado from her home in Kansas to a magical land. Dorothy and her dog Toto follow the yellow brick road and make friends along the way, as they head to the Emerald City to meet the Great Wizard in hopes that he can help return them home.

Manna Café to host Mobile Pantry at Fellowship Church, June 13th

 

Manna Café MinistriesClarksville, TN – Manna Café Ministries will conduct a Mobile Pantry on Friday, June 13th at Fellowship Church, 2201 Peacher’s Mill Road, starting at 10:00am.

Please note that the location of this Pantry has been changed from a previously announced site. At this event, Manna Café will be giving away food to anyone in the community needing assistance with groceries.
