Clarksville Gas and Water reports Providence Boulevard Lane Closure

Clarksville Gas and Water Department - CGWClarksville, TN – Clarksville Gas and Water closed the outer westbound lane of Providence Boulevard between Peachers Mill Road and Shelby Street at 4:00pm this afternoon to repair a water main and water service line.

Westbound traffic will be directed to the inside lane to bypass the work zone; however, traffic congestion may be possible.

Clarksville Parks and Recreation announces Spring Adult Softball League registrations begin January 23rd

 

Clarksville Parks and Recreation DepartmentClarksville, TN – Despite the wintery chill, Clarksville Parks and Recreation is gearing up for spring adult softball, with leagues open to men and women ages 18 and older.

An organizational meeting will start at 3:00pm on Saturday, January 21st at Burt-Cobb Community Center, and registration begins Monday, January 23rd. League participants — including coaches, sanctioning representatives, and umpires — are invited to attend.

Clarksville Police release name of Pedestrian Struck near the Intersection of Peachers Mill Road and Providence Boulevard

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – On Thursday, December 1st, 2016 Clarksville Police responded to an accident involving a pedestrian being struck by a vehicle near the intersection of Peachers Mill Road and Providence Boulevard.

The name of the pedestrian is 50-year-old Mark Ingraham from Clarksville.

This is still an ongoing investigation.

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Clarksville Police responded to an accident involving a pedestrian being struck by a vehicle near the intersection of Peachers Mill Road and Providence Boulevard around 6:20pm Thursday, December 1st causing the roadway to be closed.

The roadway is open to traffic.

Clarksville Police reports Person shot at 800 Block of Peachers Mill Road

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Clarksville Police Officers and paramedics were dispatched to the 800 block of Peachers Mill Road early Wednesday morning, November 2nd at 12:33am due to E911 calls about multiple gunshots.

One of those callers said a man with gunshot wounds was outside the front door of one of the apartments, which is not the victim’s listed residence. First responders discovered a male with two gunshot wounds.

Riding the custom-decorated bus on the Hilldale route Saturday, she sang “The Wheels on the Bus” with a toddler, cheerfully helped passengers in wheel chairs navigate the bus aisle, and greeted each Clarksville Transit System rider and employee with a big smile – all while sporting a really classy pirate costume.

Clarksville Parks and Recreation announces Art on the Park Contest Winners

 

Clarksville Parks and Recreation DepartmentClarksville, TN – The Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department is happy to announce the winners of this year’s Art on the Park Contest.

Not only will winning artists paint their artwork on the skate park walls, but the winning musician will perform live at the Art on the Park event on Saturday, October 15th at the Heritage Park Skate Park, located at 1241 Peacher’s Mill Road.
