The Halloween-adorned bus will run the streets of Clarksville, offering free rides on Monday, October 30th and Tuesday, October 31st.

Clarksville Police say Vehicle Crash Sends Two to Hospital

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – On Friday, October 27th, 2017 around 8:43am, Clarksville Police report a 2004 Mazda driven by a 35 year old man was traveling southbound on Peachers Mill Road when it crossed into the northbound lane striking a 2008 Honda Accord, traveling northbound on Peachers Mill Road driven by a 50 year old woman.

The collision caused the Mazda to flip over onto its roof. The driver of the Honda had to be extricated.

Vehicle accident occurred on Peachers Mill Road early Friday morning.

Clarksville Gas and Water reports Garner Hills Drive Water Main Leak Causing Low Water Pressure in North Clarksville

Clarksville Gas and Water Department - CGWClarksville, TN – Clarksville Gas and Water is repairing a 24-inch water main leak near Garner Hills Drive resulting in low water pressure in North Clarksville.

Areas affected, but not limited to, include Fort Campbell Boulevard from R.E. Durrett Jr.-Ringgold Creek Bridge to the state line, Fort Campbell Boulevard to the Exit 1 area and Interstate 24, Peachers Mills Road to Tiny Town Road and Trenton Road from Viewmont Drive to Tylertown Road.

City of Clarksville - Clarksville, TNClarksville, TN – A Clarksville woman has a tidy new house on Chestnut Street to call home, thanks to the City of Clarksville and the federal Community Development Block Grant/HOME program.

Clarksville Travel Ball hosts H&S Farms Strawberry Slam this weekend

 

Clarksville Travel BallClarksville, TN – On Saturday and Sunday, May 28th and 29th, USSSA baseball presents the H&S Farms Strawberry Slam Tournament. Teams from Tennessee and Kentucky will be playing on Saturday and Sunday at Heritage Park.

The Pool play schedule for the H&S Farms Strawberry Slam is posted on the USSSA website.

“The primary focus of USSSA is the development of programs that allow for teams of all skill levels to compete against one another.  Clarksville Travel Ball’s vision is to provide an opportunity for local players to participate in tournament atmospheres,” stated Brian Walker, USSSA area director.

Clarksville Police requests help identifying Attempted Robbery Suspect

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – The Clarksville Police Department is trying to identify the suspect in an attempted Robbery of a business at 1230 Peachers Mill Road which occurred on April 28th, 2017 around 00:31am. 

An unknown male entered the store and demanded all the money in the drawer. When the clerk could not open the drawer, the would-be robber got angry, threw items from the counter to the floor, and left the business empty handed.

Movies in the Park - Clarksville Parks and RecreationClarksville, TN – Clarksville Parks and Recreation’s Movies in the Park, the city’s free, outdoor movie series, will celebrate its 12th season as it kicks off on Saturday, May 27th with the showing of Finding Dory (G) at Heritage Park!

The season begins with the first two showings at Heritage Park, 1241 Peachers Mill Road, followed by the next two showings at McGregor Park’s North Extension (behind O’Charley’s), 640 North Riverside Drive.
