Clarksville Police charge Man with False Report

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – On March 19th, 2015, William Lewis, a 27-year-old Clarksville resident, reported to Clarksville Police Officers a Burglary at his neighbor’s (victim) apartment at an apartment complex on the 800 block of Peachers Mill Road.

Lewis advised that two black males entered the victim’s apartment and ran out then got into a white Dodge Intrepid. Soon after Lewis’ report to Officers, the Officers found that Lewis had a warrant on file for Violation of Probation with Rutherford County and was arrested on scene.

Clarksville Parks and Recreation's Movies in the ParkClarksville, TN – Movies in the Park, the City’s free, outdoor movie series, will celebrate its 10th season as it kicks off, Saturday, May 2nd, with a showing of Pitch Perfect (PG-13)!

The season begins with the first five showings at Heritage Park, located at 1241 Peachers Mill Road, and will continue with the last six showings at Liberty Park, located at 1188 Cumberland Drive.

Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department prepares for annual Spring Eggstravaganza

Participants can register through March 27th at any of our community centers, the Parks and Recreation Main office as well as online at recpro.cityofclarksville.com.

The baseball, softball and t-ball leagues are open to youth ages 5 to 14. Birth certificates are required at registration to verify the child’s age.

Clarksville Police Department issues Travel update

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – The Clarksville Police Department reports there have been twenty-four reported collisions since 9:00am. Four of those involved injuries. Patrol cars have gotten stuck in all three districts. Any street with a significant hill is a problem.

The most problematic areas right now are the 1200 block of Needmore Road, New Providence Road at the Cumberland River Bridge (Boot Hill), the South Bypass, and Tiny Town Road near Peachers Mill Road. Most of these areas involve the aforementioned significant hills.

Clarksville Police Department releases Alcoholic Beverage Commission Operation results from December 16th, 2014

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – On Tuesday, December 16th, 2014, Alcohol Beverage Control Agents (ABC) of the Clarksville Police Department’s Special Operations Unit conducted operations targeting sales of alcohol to underage persons.
