Clarksville Police Department cites two businesses during April 29th Alcoholic Beverage Commission Operation

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – On Friday, April 29th, 2016, Alcohol Beverage Control (ABC) Agents of the Clarksville Police Department’s Special Operation Unit conducted operations targeting the sales of alcohol to underage persons.

Compliance checks were done on 14 businesses with only 12 businesses being found in compliance. Two businesses were cited for sales of alcohol to underage persons.

Clarksville Police reports Shots Fired Call at Heritage Park on Peachers Mill Road

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Today, Thursday, April 28th, 2016 at 4:10pm, Clarksville Police Officers responded to a shots fired call near the basketball courts at Heritage Park on Peachers Mill Road.

One individual had non-life-threatening injuries from gunfire. This is not a random shooting. It is believed that a fight led to the gunfire.

Clarksville Police Department conducts Prostitution Sting

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – On Friday, March 4th, 2016, Vice and Narcotics Agents of the Clarksville Police Department’s Special Operations Unit conducted operations targeting prostitution on backpage.com.

Six persons were charged with Patronizing Prostitution. They are John Santos, Anthony Ashford, Kyle Stallworth, Stephen Mock, Richard Ginnetto and Gavin Phillips.

Clarksville Parks and Recreation DepartmentClarksville, TN – Registration for the Clarksville Parks and Recreation Youth Recreation Leagues is underway. Participants can register now through March 28th at any of our three community centers, the Parks and Recreation office as well as online at www.cityofclarksville.com/parksrec

The baseball, softball and t-ball leagues are open to youth ages 5 to 14. For first time participants, birth certificates are required at time of registration to verify the child’s age.

Clarksville Gas and Water reports Peachers Mill Road Lane Closure

 

Thursday, January 28th, 2016

Clarksville Gas and Water Department - CGWClarksville, TN – Clarksville Gas and Water has closed the northbound lane of Peachers Mill Road between Broadmore Drive and Mill Creek Road to install a water pressure relief valve.

The center turning lane will be designated for northbound traffic to allow for continued traffic flow.

Registration begins today, Monday, January 25th, 2016 with an organizational meeting scheduled for 3:00pm on Saturday, January 30th at the Burt-Cobb Community Center.
