Nashville, TN - The Nashville Predators will look to put Thursday night’s home loss behind them as they travel for a Saturday matinee against the Colorado Avalanche, at 2:00pm CT at the Pepsi Center.
The two teams hook up for their second matinee game this season. The last time the Predators made the trip to Denver for a game it was Presidents Day. Two early goals were too much to overcome for the Predators, as Nashville fell for the first time in 10 games dating back to January 22nd, 2010.

Nashville Predators get behind early in 7-4 loss to Phoenix Coyotes

Nashville,TN – The Nashville Predators were down early as Phoenix unleashed 3 goals within the first four minutes of the game, causing Nashville to pull Pekka Rinne from goal to try to stop the bleeding.
Chris Mason came in and things didn’t get much better as he gave up three goals, and the tone of the night had been set.

The two teams wrap up their three-game 2012-13 season series on Thursday at Bridgestone Arena with both teams having won a home game to this point.

Nashville Predators get 3-2 win over Edmonton Oilers

Nashville, TN – The Nashville Predators continued their home winning streak with a 3-2 victory tonight over the Edmonton Oilers at Bridgestone Arena. Martin Erat and Sergei Kostitsyn were key in tonight’s win.
Edmonton drew first blood at 7:53 of the first period as Corey Potter netted a power play goal to give the Oilers a quick 1-0 lead.

Nashville Predators reassign Ryan Ellis to Milwaukee Admirals, Activate Patric Hornqvist from Injured Reserve

Nashville, TN – Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced today that the club has reassigned defenseman Ryan Ellis to Milwaukee (AHL) and activated forward Patric Hornqvist from Injured Reserve.
Ellis, 22 (1/3/91), has six points (2g-4a) in 31 games with the Predators this season. He started 2012-13 with the Admirals, posting nine points (2g-7a) in 20 games.

The Predators are coming off of a thrilling, action packed, over-time thriller vs. the Dallas Stars on Monday night at the Bridgestone Arena, 5-4.
Roman Josi posted the first four-point outing (2g-2a) of his career on Monday night, as he beat Christopher Nilstorp 28 seconds into overtime to give the Predators the 5-4 win over Dallas. He posted the Predators second goal of the game and added assists on back-to-back goals for Nashville.

Shea Weber proved to be the overtime hero, scoring just 44 seconds into the frame to cap off a two-point night and earn First Star honors. Colin Wilson also notched a pair of points (2a), while both Craig Smith and Roman Josi scored their first goals of the season.

Nashville, TN – The Nashville Predators, behind the stellar goaltending of Pekka Rinne, have shut-out the Phoenix Coyotes in Nashville 3-0. Another sold out at Bridgestone Arena witnessed the Predators play aggressive hockey throughout the night. This was the 19th consecutive sell-out for the Nashville Predators.
