Nashville, TN – The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency is now accepting entries for its 2013-14 photo contest for publication in the Tennessee Wildlife Magazine’s popular annual calendar issue.
All interested photographers are invited to submit their best photos on fishing and wildlife species native to Tennessee, and fishing and hunting scenes in Tennessee.

Clarksville, TN – Faculty and staff members at Austin Peay State University recently announced publications or conferences attended as part of their professional and scholarly activities.
Beth Liggett, University photographer, had her photograph “Road Trip” accepted into the professional experimental and alternative processes category of the 2013 Downtown Artist’s Co-op Regional Photography Exposition. Planters Bank-Hilldale Gallery to feature Retired Army Photographer David Smith

Clarksville, TN – Retired U.S. Army Still Photographer David Smith is the featured artist at the Planters Bank-Hilldale Gallery in December. Smith’s work will be exhibited Thursday, December 6th – Wednesday, January 2nd.
The exhibit is a collection of photography from Smith’s adventures in Tennessee’s state parks, along with many scenes and landscapes from here in Clarksville.

Austin Peay State University to host Duotone Art Exhibit November 19th

Clarksville, TN – Beth Liggett is the official photographer for Austin Peay State University, a photojournalist and an editorial and lifestyle photographer based in Clarksville.
On November 19th, a new exhibit of her work, titled “Duotone,” will open at APSU in the Morgan University Center Pop-Up Gallery. Liggett has chosen works that express the duality of her professional and her artistic work for this show.
