Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN - The Clarksville Police Department has arrested Cedric Grooms for Robbery. He was detained for another incident that lead to his arrest of the Kangaroo Express at 560 Dover Road, Clarksville, TN.

This is still an active investigation so no further information will be released at this time.

Clarksville Police report Car Stolen after Keys were left in an Unlocked Vehicle

 

Clarksville Police wants to make the public aware of the dangers of leaving your keys in an unattended vehicle

Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – On January 25th, 2013, around 8:45am, a 20 year old woman parked her 2005 Nissan Altima at the gas pumps at the Shell Station, 600 Rossview Road. She left the keys inside of the vehicle (allegedly not running) and went into the Shell Station.

When she returned to her vehicle, it had been driven off by an unknown person. The vehicle was spotted by Sgt Scott Hendrickson on the 76 Connector shortly after the theft. He attempted to stop the vehicle, but the driver fled onto I-24 eastbound at a high rate of speed.

Clarksville Police arrest Six Neighbors involved in Fighting Free for All

 

Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – On August 21st, 2012, around 12:30am, a verbal argument between neighbors turned physical, resulting in six people going to jail.

The chain of events began when Charles Clemons was assaulted in his front yard at 913 Power Street by a neighbor, Ryan Kobold, from 914 Power Street after they had a verbal argument over property items.

Clarksville Gas and Water Department reports Walnut Street Lane Closure

Clarksville Gas and Water DepartmentClarksville, TN – Clarksville Gas and Water has closed Walnut Street to one lane of traffic between Power Street to Allison Drive for natural gas line inspection and maintenance. The work is expected to be complete and the road reopened by 12:00pm.

Clarksville Police throughout the City respond to Hostage Call which turns into False Report

 

On-duty Clarksville Police officers throughout the city were diverted from their patrol duties in their respective districts to respond to a “Hostage” call which turned out to be a False Report.

Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – On June 15th, 2012 around 10:40pm, the Clarksville-Montgomery County 911 received calls that Sheila Sied was being held hostage in Lincoln Homes.

One call was received from Houston County 911, after Sheila Sied had called them and said she had been held hostage in Lincoln Homes for two weeks and tied up for the entire time.

Houston County 911 called her back and confirmed with Sied about her captivity in Lincoln Homes.  The victim’s sister and aunt also received similar  information from Sheila Sied. Sheila Sied’s sister had reported her missing on June 2nd, 2012.

Clarksville Police take Three Men into Custody after Woman Spots them Breaking into a Trailer

 

Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – On January 5th, 2012, around 10:30am, an employee at Live Oak Mobile Home Park, 708 Power Street, called Police to report a burglary. She saw men loading items from a vacant trailer into a red Dodge pickup truck and went to investigate.

As she approached the men in the pickup, they sped off, but she was able to get a license plate tag number to provide to responding officers.

Fatal Crash Claims the Life of One Man

 

Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – On October 8th, 2011, around 11:24pm, a Chevy Silverado driven by Andrew Carter, 21, of Clarksville traveling southbound on Providence Boulevard, for an unknown reason, crossed into the northbound lanes and crashed head-on into a Nissan pickup, driven by a 51 year old man, traveling northbound on Providence Boulevard.
