Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Police Department conducted impaired driving saturation patrols March 22nd and 23rd, 2013 partially funded by the Governor’s Highway Safety Office .
During this time, there were 119 vehicles stopped and 145 charges issued.

Clarksville Police charge Suicidal Man with Intoxicated

Clarksville, TN – On Saturday, March 16th, Clarksville Police responded to a 911 call about a man with a gun. A perimeter was set up to contain the man and officers evacuated neighbors in the surrounding houses. Around 4:47pm, Tactical Unit members were able to subdue the man.
The man, Gerald Bakker, was charged last night around 7:00pm for possession of a firearm while under the influence and public intoxication.

Clarksville Police arrested Men for breaking into a 70 year old Man’s House

Men used Craigslist as a Means to Find a Residence to Burglarize
Clarksville, TN – On August 18th, 2012, around 8:00pm, Clarksville Police Officer Ronnie Brown responded to a residential burglary at 8 Gino Drive. Rosario Garcia, 70 left his residence on August 18th, around 4:00pm and returned around 8:00pm.
When he arrived home, he found that his residence had been broken into and approximately $10,000 worth of property had been removed from his house. It appears as though entry had been made through a window.

Clarksville Police Department reports a Man Exposing Himself to a Two Year Old Child

Clarksville, TN – On May 24th, 2012, around 10:00pm, Clarksville Police responded to a call at Seventh Street about an intoxicated man exposing himself to a 2 year old girl.
When officers arrived, they spoke to a man who told them that a neighbor walked up to his two year old daughter and exposed himself to her. There were also witnesses who saw the man exposing himself to the child.

Protestors asked to leave Legislative Plaza Saturday Morning

Nashville, TN – The Tennessee Department of Safety and Homeland Security early Saturday morning enforced a revised state policy that makes the Legislative Plaza, War Memorial Courtyard, and Capitol grounds areas closed to the public from 10:00pm until 6:00am daily.

Middle Tennessee Fugitive put on the State’s Most Wanted List

Nashville, TN – The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation today added a middle Tennessee fugitive to the state’s Top Ten Most Wanted list after he was indicted by the Wilson County Grand Jury earlier this month and has not been located by law enforcement to be served with the charges and taken into custody.
Christopher Andre Hancock, 29, last known address 856 Cheyenne Blvd, Madison, Tennessee is wanted by the Lebanon Police Department for attempted aggravated robbery and vandalism over $500.00.
