Rivers and Spires Festival reaches Crescendo with Jo Dee Messina Concert

 

Rivers and Spires FestivalClarksville, TN – The final day of the 2013 Rivers and Spires Festival began with absolutely glorious weather. The sun was shining and the sky was that special shade of blue you get after a spring storm. The crowds started showing up even before the 10:00am official opening time.

Dave Loos, Jr. from WJZM 1400 AM was on hand broadcasting Live from the Bill Roberts Thunder Road Automotive and Marine booth just down from the Roxy Regional Theatre. He spent the morning interviewing festival organizers and some of the sponsors.

Rivers and Spires Festival wraps up today with Activities, Music Galore

 

Rivers and Spires FestivalClarksville, TN – The 11th annual Rivers and Spires Festival concludes today in Historic Downtown Clarksville. The event gets started at 10:00am with food vendors, arts and crafts, and kids’ activities. The Children’s Parade with start at 1:00pm.

There will be acts and music going on five separate stages all day and into the night. And one of the best things about Rivers and Spires, is that it’s free and open to the public.

Rivers and Spires Festival fights chilly weather on second day of festival

 

Rivers and Spires FestivalClarksville, TN – The second day of the Rivers and Spires Festival opened with an unseasonable chill in the air, but that didn’t stop the crowds for coming out for the second day of this wonderful three day festival held in Historic Downtown Clarksville Tennessee.

On the first day of the 2013 Rivers and Spires Festival I concentrated mostly on the musical entertainment, today I engaged in one of the most popular activities at the festival, people watching!

Rivers and Spires Festival features Brewfest on Saturday, April 20th

 

Rivers and Spires FestivalClarksville, TN – The Rivers and Spires Festival’s Brewfest will feature more than 80 beers for you to sample on Saturday, April 20th from 3:00pm to 7:00pm.

The event will have craft beers, food and entertainment. Activities for the afternoon include interactive cooking shows, sponsored by Legends Bank and Publix, complete with samples for the audience to enjoy.

Rivers and Spires Festival kicks off with high spirits

 

Rivers and Spires FestivalClarksville, TN – The first day of the Rivers and Spires Festival opened with spring rains threatening, which prompted festival organizers to move up the start of the festivities. This allowed the evening to conclude before the weather struck.

The early start didn’t dampen the spirits of the crowd drawn to downtown to enjoy the top notch musical entertainment. Cowboy Mouth was certainly the most popular performer as the crowd was drawn in droves to the edge of the Public Square Stage.

Rivers and Spires Festival starts early Thursday due to incoming Weather

 

Rivers and Spires Event Schedule Updated

Rivers and Spires FestivalClarksville, TN – The 2013 Rivers and Spires Festival tonight will kick off sooner than expected due to a storm expected to roll in later this evening. The festival will began at 4:30pm instead of the 5:30pm time listed on the schedule.

Bands will play one hour to an hour and a half earlier than planned. There are going to be some outstanding bands performing tonight that you do not want to miss.

Tonight's Rivers and Spires Festival closes out with headliner Cowboy Mouth at 7:00pm on the Public Square Stage.

Rivers and Spires FestivalClarksville, TN – The Rivers and Spires Festival begins this afternoon at 5:00pm in downtown Clarksville, TN. This three day event includes live music, art, food and activities for the kids.

The music kicks off at 5:30pm on the Public Square Stage with Uncle Lenny. Uncle Lenny is cover band from Clarksville. Their music variety ranges from rock, to country, to some blues.
