Washington, D.C. – U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) reports this recall involves yellow USB charging cords sold with Aero Spin and Aero Cruz Sky Rover remote-controlled flying toys.
The toy is shaped like ball with two blades on top, wings on the side and measures about 3 ½ inches tall by 5 inches wide. They are operated by a small one-channel remote control unit.
The following item numbers are included in the recall: YW859110-2, YW859110-3, YW859110-5, YW859110-6 or TTYW859110-5.
Washington, D.C. – U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) reports Toshiba is recalling Panasonic lithium-ion battery packs installed in 39 models of Toshiba Portege, Satellite, and Tecra laptops.
The battery packs were also sold separately and also installed by Toshiba as part of a repair. Battery packs included in this recall have part numbers that begin with G71C (G71C*******). Part numbers are printed on the battery pack.

Washington, D.C. – U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) reports Microsoft is recalling AC power cords for it’s Surface Pro Devices. This recall involves AC power cords sold with Microsoft Surface Pro, Surface Pro 2 and Surface Pro 3 computers before March 15th, 2015.
Surface Pro and Surface Pro 2 devices have a black case with the product name on the back of the device toward the bottom. Surface Pro 3 computers have a silver case with “Windows 8 Pro” on the back of the device under the kickstand.
Sold Exclusively at Walmart
Washington, D.C. – U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) reports Walmart recalls Rival brand electric griddles with model number XJ-14207.
The griddles are black and measure 20 inches long by 10.5 inches wide.
“Walmart” and the model number are printed on a label molded into the bottom of the griddle. “Rival” is printed on the outside edge of the griddle and on the griddle’s temperature dial.
Washington, D.C. – The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration reports Honda (American Honda Motor Co.) is recalling certain model year vehicles because they have a passenger side frontal air bag that may be susceptible to moisture intrusion which, over time, could cause the inflator to rupture upon its deployment.
Washington, D.C. – U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) reports that Carrier Corporation is recalling Packaged Terminal Air Conditioners, Heat Pumps for repair due to fire hazard.
This recall involves Packaged Terminal Air Conditioners (PTAC) and Packaged Terminal Heat Pumps (PTHP) sold under the Bryant, Carrier and Fast brand names. Recalled units include those with original power cords and those that received a supplemental power cord as part of the 2007 recall.
CPSC reports Dollar Tree Recalls Burn Relief Gel due to failure to meet Child Resistant Closure Requirement
Washington, D.C. – U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) reports that Dollar Tree is recalling Assured Burn Relief Gel because it fails to meet child resistant closure requirements.
The recalled burn relief gel is packaged in a blue box with white letters “Burn Relief” and red letters “Burn Relief Gel”. The brand name is Assured TM. Inside the box is a blue and white tube labeled “Burn Relief Gel” and measuring approximately 5 inches long by 1 inch wide and weighs about 0.7 ounces (20 grams).
The packaging contains the UPC bar code: 6 39277 09311 0.
Ford Motor Company recalls over 400,000 Ford Fusion and Mercury Milan Vehicles because Fuel Tank may Crack
Washington, D.C. – The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration reports Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain model year 2010-2011 Ford Fusion vehicles manufactured July 21st, 2008, to March 4th, 2011, and 2010-2011 Mercury Milan vehicles manufactured July 23rd, 2008, to December 10th, 2010.
The affected vehicles have fuel vapor canisters whose purge valves may not operate properly resulting in abnormal pressure changes in the fuel tank.
Honda recalls over 140,000 Civics and Fits because Transmission Software may Result in Pulley Damage
Washington, D.C. – The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration reports Honda (American Honda Motor Co.) is recalling certain model year 2014-2015 Civic vehicles manufactured January 16th, 2014, to November 6th, 2014 and 2015 Fit vehicles manufactured March 12th, 2014, to May 12th, 2015.
The software settings that control the transmission operation may result in damage to the transmission drive pulley shaft.
General Mills recalls Cheerios and Honey Nut Cheerios cereal produced at its Lodi, California location on certain dates
Minneapolis, MN – General Mills is voluntarily recalling several days of production of Cheerios and Honey Nut Cheerios cereal produced at its Lodi, California facility on certain dates in July of this year because of an undeclared allergen – wheat – with potential adverse health effects.
Because this recall relates to an undeclared allergen, this is a Class I product recall.
