Bad Boy Off-Road Utility Vehicles recalled by Textron Specialized Vehicles Due to Risk of Serious Injury or Death

U.S. Consumer Product Safety CommissionWashington, D.C. – The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and Textron Specialized Vehicles, Inc., of Augusta, Georgia, are announcing the recall of about 1,100 Bad Boy off-road utility vehicles. As a result of the vehicles rolling over, a 14-year-old male passenger died in Toombs County, Georgia in 2014 and, in a separate rollover incident, an adult male operator suffered a serious leg injury.

The vehicles lack seat belts, posing a risk of serious injury or death to the operator and passengers in the event of a vehicle accident.

CPSC reports Toshiba Expands Laptop Computer Battery Packs Recall Due to Burn and Fire Hazards

 

U.S. Consumer Product Safety CommissionWashington, D.C. – This expanded recall involves Panasonic lithium-ion battery packs installed in 41 models of Toshiba Satellite laptops, including the Satellite models affected by the March 2016 recall.  

Toshiba has expanded the number of battery packs to include those sold between June 2011 and November 2016. The battery packs also were sold separately and installed by Toshiba as part of a repair.

Battery packs included in this recall have part numbers that begin with G71C (G71C*******). Part numbers are printed on the battery pack. A complete list of battery pack part numbers included in this recall can be found on the firm’s website at http://go.toshiba.com/battery.

Conair recalls Cuisinart Food Processors Due to Laceration Hazard

 

U.S. Consumer Product Safety CommissionWashington, D.C. – The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission reports Conair is recalling Cuisinart Food Processors because the riveted blade can crack over time and small metal pieces of the blade can break off into the processed food.

Consumers should stop using this product unless otherwise instructed. It is illegal to resell or attempt to resell a recalled consumer product.

Ford Motor Company recalls over 600,000 Fusion and Lincoln MKZ vehicles because Front Seat Belts May Not Restrain Occupants

 

National Highway Traffic Safety Administration - NHTSAWashington, D.C. – The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration reports Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain model year 2013-2016 Ford Fusion vehicles manufactured November 2nd, 2012, to July 31st, 2014, and 2013-2015 Lincoln MKZ vehicles manufactured November 14th, 2012, to July 31st, 2014.

In the event of a crash, heat from the deployment of a seat belt pretensioner may cause a front seat belt anchor cable to fail.

CPSC reports Pacifier Clips recalled by Toys ‘R’ Us due to Choking Harzard

 

Pacifier Clips Sold Exclusively at Babies ‘R’ Us and Toys ‘R’ Us

U.S. Consumer Product Safety CommissionWashington, D.C. – U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) reports that this recall involves Babies‘R’Us pacifier clips sold in an assortment of six colors and character designs, including a red monster, blue monster, monkey, giraffe, owl with one eye closed, and an owl with both eyes open.

The pacifier clips have a circular plastic cover affixed to a metal spring clip and a fabric strip with snaps at the other end. The recalled pacifier clip assortment has model number 5F6237F and “®2014 Geoffrey, LLC” engraved on the back to the plastic cover.

CPSC announces Marvel Thanos Infinity Gauntlet oven mitts recalled by Loot Crate due to Burn Hazard

 

U.S. Consumer Product Safety CommissionWashington, D.C. – U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) reports this recall involves the Marvel Thanos Infinity Gauntlet oven mitts. The oven mitt’s outer shell is 100% polyester in primarily a golden yellow color with blue, purple, green, red and black accents.

The Marvel logo can be found on the upper center part of the oven mitt. Made in China and UPC code 15129322 are printed on the care label on the inside seams of the oven mitts.

CPSC announces Nu Skin Recalls Mist Diffusers Due to Risk of Mold Exposure

 

U.S. Consumer Product Safety CommissionWashington, D.C. – U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) reports this recall involves Nu Skin Epoch mist diffusers. The diffuser is a plastic bowl with a glass lid and bamboo trim ring, used to diffuse essential oils.

“Nu Skin” is engraved in the bamboo on the side of the product. The white and tan diffusers are 6.5 inches in diameter and 3.5 inches in height.

The recalled lot numbers are PZ11351, PZ17051, PZ21551, PZ03151 and PZ03451. The lot number is printed on the white plastic on the bottom of the product.

CPSC announces Auldey Toys recalls Sky Rover Toys Due to Fire Hazard

 

U.S. Consumer Product Safety CommissionWashington, D.C. – U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) reports this recall involves yellow USB charging cords sold with Aero Spin and Aero Cruz Sky Rover remote-controlled flying toys.

The toy is shaped like ball with two blades on top, wings on the side and measures about 3 ½ inches tall by 5 inches wide. They are operated by a small one-channel remote control unit.

The following item numbers are included in the recall: YW859110-2, YW859110-3, YW859110-5, YW859110-6 or TTYW859110-5.

Microsoft Recalls AC Power Cords for Surface Pro Devices Due to Fire, Shock Hazards

 

U.S. Consumer Product Safety CommissionWashington, D.C. – U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) reports Microsoft is recalling AC power cords for it’s Surface Pro Devices. This recall involves AC power cords sold with Microsoft Surface Pro, Surface Pro 2 and Surface Pro 3 computers before March 15th, 2015.

Surface Pro and Surface Pro 2 devices have a black case with the product name on the back of the device toward the bottom. Surface Pro 3 computers have a silver case with “Windows 8 Pro” on the back of the device under the kickstand.
