Washington D.C. – Kolcraft Enterprises Inc. is recalling it’s Jeep Liberty Strollers because the inner tube of the tire on the stroller can rupture causing the wheel rim to fracture and fly off as a projectile, posing a risk of bodily injury and property damage.
U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) says consumers should stop using this product unless otherwise instructed. It is illegal to resell or attempt to resell a recalled consumer product.

General Motors recalls nearly 200,000 vehicles due to possible Short Circuit that could lead to a Fire

Washington, D.C. – General Motors (GM) is recalling certain model year 2006 Chevrolet Trailblazer EXT and GMC Envoy XL and 2006-2007 Chevrolet Trailblazer, GMC Envoy, Buick Rainier, SAAB 9-7X, and Isuzu Ascender vehicles.
Fluid may enter the driver’s door module, causing corrosion that could result in a short in the circuit board.
 2007 Chevrolet Trailblazer is one of the models being recalled.

Chrysler recalls over 180,000 Jeep Wrangler vehicles due to possible loss of Transmission Function

Washington, D.C. – Chrysler Group LLC (Chrysler) is recalling certain model year 2012-2013 Jeep Wrangler vehicles equipped with a 3.6L engine and an automatic transmission and manufactured January 23rd, 2011, through February 23rd, 2013.
The power steering line may contact and wear a hole in the transmission oil cooler line resulting in a loss of transmission fluid.

Washington, D.C. – Kia Motors Corporation (Kia) is recalling certain model year 2007-2010 Rondo and Sportage, model year 2007-2011 Sorento, model year 2007 Sedona, model year 2010-2011 Soul, and model year 2011 Optima vehicles.
The stop lamp switch in the affected vehicles may malfunction.

Consumer Product Safety Commission reports LED Light Bulbs Recalled by Lighting Science Group Due to Fire Hazard

Washington, D.C. – Lighting Science Group is recalled their LED Light Bulbs because the bulbs can overheat during use, posing a fire hazard.
Consumers should stop using this product, which is being recalled voluntarily, unless otherwise instructed. It is illegal to resell or attempt to resell a recalled consumer product.
The 120-volt LED bulbs, sold as 6- 8- and 9-watt bulbs (equivalent to 40 or 50 watts), were marketed under the brand names Definity, EcoSmart, Sylvania and Westinghouse.

Homelite Recalls Electric Blower Vacuums Due to Laceration Hazard; Sold Exclusively at Home Depot

Washington, D.C. – This recall involves Homelite electric blower vacuums with two different model and serial number ranges, including model UT42120 with serial numbers BMP3540001 through BMR2103100, and model UT42120A with serial numbers BMR2120001 through BMR3421250.
Model and serial numbers are located on a label on the left side of the red motor housing. The blower vacuums are red and black. “Homelite BlowerVac 2 Speed Powerful 220 MPH” is printed on the side of the motor housing and on the black plastic blower tube.

Toyota recalls over 800,000 vehicles due to possible inadvertent airbag deployment

Washington, D.C. – Toyota is recalling certain model year 2003-2004 Corolla and Corolla Matrix vehicles and 2003-2004 Pontiac Vibe vehicles. The supplemental restraint system (SRS) circuits are susceptible to internal shorting.
The electrical short may create an abnormal current flow and increased heat which can damage the circuits. This could result in an inadvertent deployment of the front airbags and/or seat belt pretensioners.
