Clarksville, TN – After suffering through its worst start in program history by losing its first nine games, the Govs finally broke through Monday night and beat Arkansas State in overtime 86-82 in the Dunn Center.

“I would be less than honest if I didn’t tell you that that thought had crossed my mind, ‘Here we go again!’,” APSU coach Dave Loos said. “But I thought they did a nice job in the possession where we got it to Will (Triggs) for a lay up. That was good patience and savvy basketball there.”
Will Triggs lays it in and helps Austin Peay to their first win of the year. Will Triggs ended the game with 12 points for the Governors.
