The annual summer concert series, presented by U.S. Bank, is now in its 5th season and will feature a variety of local talent. In addition to the live music, downtown restaurants will offer outdoor dining for concert-goers.

Episode Demonstrates Consumers Have Power to Shape the Marketplace
San Francisco, CA – Following weeks of consumer protest, Bank of America announced today that it is dropping its plan to begin charging consumers a monthly $5.00 debit card fee. Bank of America’s decision demonstrates that consumers can have a big impact on banking industry practices by joining together and making their voices heard, according to Consumers Union, the advocacy arm of Consumer Reports.

Clarksville, TN – On Friday, July 15th, the Clarksville Downtown Market will hold its first-ever “Night Market” in conjunction with the City of Clarksville and U.S. Bank’s popular summer concert series Jammin’ in the Alley.
More than a dozen vendors from Clarksville’s weekly Downtown Market will be set up along Strawberry Alley from 5:00pm to 8:00pm selling a variety of homegrown and homemade items.

Clarksville, TN – On Friday July 1st, 2011 a memorial/visitation service will be held for the late Jimmie M. Garland Jr. from 5:00pm-7:00pm at the Henry Smith Funeral Home 335 Franklin Street Clarksville, TN. The Funeral Service will take place on Saturday July 2nd, 2011 beginning at 12 noon at St. John Missionary Baptist Church, 1833 Tiny Town Road, Clarksville, TN.
Garland passed away after an accident in the home on June 25th. He is the son of Clarksville-Montgomery School System Chairman Jimmie M. Garland Sr.
