Clarksville Gas and Water Department reports sections of Franklin and Reynolds Streets Closed

Clarksville Gas and Water Department - CGWClarksville, TN – Clarksville Gas and Water has closed Franklin Street from Hornberger Lane to Reynolds Street and Reynolds from Franklin to Vine Street to install a water service line. The roads will be closed to traffic until approximately 12:30pm.

Franklin Street traffic will be detoured to Hornberger Lane and Reynolds Street traffic will be detoured to Vine Street.

Tennessee Bureau of Investigation adds Danyon Lydell Dowlen of Clarksville to Tennessee’s Top Ten Most Wanted List

 

Tennessee Bureau of InvestigationNashville, TN – The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation today added a Clarksville man wanted for questioning in a September homicide to the state’s Top Ten Most Wanted fugitive list in an effort to locate him and take him into custody on an outstanding warrant related to the murder.

Danyon Lydell Dowlen, 39, last known address 122 West Drive, Clarksville is wanted by the Clarksville Police Department on one count of being a felon in possession of a handgun.

Clarksville Police release name of Tuesday night’s Shooting Victim

 

Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – On September 18th, 2012, Clarksville Police responded to a shooting in progress and found a man shot in the area of Reynolds Street and Dodd Street. The man died from the injury.

The deceased man’s name is Charles Wilbert Sims (B/M, DOB: 7-28-62). The crime scene team completed processing of the Dodd Street and Reynolds Street area.

Clarksville Police find Man Shot at Reynolds Street and Dodd Street

 

Man Later Dies from his Injuries

Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – On September 18th, 2012, around 8:00pm, Clarksville Police responded to a shooting in progress the area of Reynolds Street and Dodd Street.

When Police arrived, they found a 50 year old man laying in the street with a handgun in his hand and had multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported by Lifeflight to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where he later died from his injuries around 11:00pm.
