Richmond, KY – Austin Peay State University remained unbeaten in extra inning affairs this season, scoring three runs in the 10th inning to secure a 9-6 Ohio Valley Conference victory against Eastern Kentucky, Saturday, at Turkey Hughes Field.

APSU Governors Baseball split OVC doubleheader at Eastern Kentucky Colonels

Richmond, KY – Austin Peay State University’s baseball team settled for a split of its Ohio Valley Conference doubleheader at Eastern Kentucky, dropping the opener 2-1 before winning the nightcap 10-8, Friday at Turkey Hughes Field.

Austin Peay State University baseball team visits Eastern Kentucky in key OVC series

Richmond, KY - Riding a four-game win streak, Austin Peay’s baseball team will hit the road for a critical Ohio Valley Conference series at Eastern Kentucky which will begin with a 2:00pm (CDT), Friday contest at Turkey Hughes Field. The Govs are seeking to keep pace with OVC leading Belmont and Jacksonville State which sit 2½ games ahead of the Govs with four weeks remaining.

Austin Peay’s Tyler Rogers sets OVC Single-Season Baseball Record for Saves

Clarksville, TN — Tyler Rogers picked up saves in both ends of Austin Peay State University’s baseball doubleheader, April 24th at Raymond C. Hand Park, to set a new Ohio Valley Conference single-season record – but more importantly help the Govs win both game against the University of Evansville 3-1 and 3-2.

Richmond, KY – Austin Peay State University women’s basketball team closes out the road portion of the 2012-13 schedule at McBrayer Arena, Saturday, when the Lady Govs face OVC East Division-leading Eastern Kentucky in a 3:00pm (CT) tip-off.

The Lady Colonels own a 25-8 mark all-time against Austin Peay in their home gym, although the Lady Govs won the last battle in Richmond, 66-63, January 2nd, 2012.
