Clarksville Parks and Recreation DepartmentClarksville, TN – New this holiday season, Clarksville Parks and Recreation community centers will be providing a valuable service for parents and an afternoon of fun for children in December during the holiday season.

The City’s Crow Community Center, Kleeman Community Center, and Burt-Cobb Community Center will be holding their first-ever “Drop and Shop” events for children ages 6 and up.

Clarksville Gas and Water announces Water Outage Planned Tonight for Madison Street and Richview Road Area

 

Tuesday, October 13th, 2015

Clarksville Gas and Water Department - CGWClarksville, TN – Clarksville Gas and Water has planned water main line maintenance work tonight at 8:30pm on Madison Street and Richview Road resulting in a water outage and low water pressure.

Water service will be turned off for approximately 30 minutes to an hour affecting Madison Street businesses and residents between Richview Road and North Meadow Road and on Richview Road between Madison and Memorial Drive.

The road will be passable.

Clarksville Gas and Water announces Water Outage Planned for Section of Madison Street

 

Monday, October 12th, 2015

Clarksville Gas and Water Department - CGWClarksville, TN – Clarksville Gas and Water has planned a water outage on Monday, October 12th, 2015, at 9:00pm on Madison Street near the Highway 76 intersection for water main line work.

Clarksville Parks and Recreation’s Tai Chi for Arthritis begins August 11th

 

Clarksville Parks and Recreation DepartmentClarksville, TN – Another session of Tai Chi will begin on August 11th at the Crow Community Center, located at 211 Richview Road. There are a total of 8 one-hour long sessions included in the program. Tai Chi will take place on Tuesdays from 4:00pm to 5:00pm, August 11th through September 29th.

Manna Café Ministries “Manna Madness” is going on now

 

Manna Café MinistriesClarksville, TN – Manna Café Ministries announces Manna Madness, a 31-day event to raise awareness about and take action against hunger in the Clarksville area. The past few weeks have caused many Montgomery County workplaces to close, and, as a result, people have less money to put food on the table.

For the entire month of March, Manna Café will be collecting food and monetary donations to ensure we have enough food on our shelves to meet the needs in our community.
