Clarksville Police have Second Shoplifting Superstar in Custody, One other still at large

 

Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – On March 22nd, the Clarksville Police Department put out a public notice to be on the look out Marquisha Carthall Childress and Randall Joe Woods for shoplifting. They are well organized shoplifters known as “Boosters”.

On March 23rd, 2013, Randall Joe Woods was arrested in Franklin, TN during a traffic stop.  He was booked into Montgomery County Jail on March 25th, 2013, around 5:00pm for Felony Theft.

Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – The Clarksville Police Department says there are shoplifters and then there are “The Superstars of Shoplifting” commonly referred to as “Boosters” .

Boosters, unlike the common shoplifters, are very organized, do not generally steal on impulse and usually steal from businesses. They steal for profit, have a group or individual to sell to, and fill requests for specific items.

Clarksville Police need assistance identifying Women who are part of a Shoplifting Ring

Clarksville is one of the many locations the thieves have been spotted and stolen thousands of dollars of merchandise.

Clarksville Police report Car Stolen after Keys were left in an Unlocked Vehicle

 

Clarksville Police wants to make the public aware of the dangers of leaving your keys in an unattended vehicle

Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – On January 25th, 2013, around 8:45am, a 20 year old woman parked her 2005 Nissan Altima at the gas pumps at the Shell Station, 600 Rossview Road. She left the keys inside of the vehicle (allegedly not running) and went into the Shell Station.

When she returned to her vehicle, it had been driven off by an unknown person. The vehicle was spotted by Sgt Scott Hendrickson on the 76 Connector shortly after the theft. He attempted to stop the vehicle, but the driver fled onto I-24 eastbound at a high rate of speed.

Clarksville Police are looking for Serial Shoplifter Shanta Griffin

 

Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – Clarksville Police are looking for Shanta Margarita Griffin who has Four Theft warrants on file and is a suspect in several other shoplifting cases.

On Three of the thefts, Griffin approached the store clerk to purchase two cartons of cigarettes. Once the clerk retrieved two cartons, Griffin would ask for an additional carton of cigarettes and then flee as the clerk turned away.

Clarksville Police arrest Man for Statutory Rape and another Man for Solicitation of a Minor

 

Both Involve the same Underage Girl

The 14 year olds mother discovered her daughter was receiving explicit text messages from a man asking her if she would have sex with him. They had met on a social networking site.

Clarksville Police need assistance identifying Fleet Footed Felons that Stole $3500 in Merchandise

 

Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – Clarksville Police are trying to identify Two Fleet Footed Felons that stole $3500 in merchandise, in less than a minute, from a store at the 2800 block of Wilma Rudolph Boulevard. As you can see from the video of the thieves, they wasted no time entering, taking the merchandise, and fleeing from the store.

The theft occurred on September 25th, 2012, around 4:45pm. The actual time for the whole event is about 45 seconds.

After Committing Robbery, Men drive up to Clarksville Police in roadway

 

Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – Three men that had fled from an Aggravated Robbery were taken into custody after driving up to Clarksville Police at the scene of a vehicle off the roadway in a ditch.

A man’s quick thinking got help on the way during an Aggravated Robbery. Three men, John Abraham, Dakota Ebel, and Raymond Romero planned to rob an acquaintance that they believed had “weed” and money.

Clarksville Police go on Suspicious Activity Call which results in Three Adults and One Junvenile arrested for string of Vehicle Burglaries

 

Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – A suspicious activity call resulted in the arrest of three adults and one juvenile on a string of burglaries in the Thornberry Drive, Kim Drive, Trevor Drive, and Kim Drive area.

On July 17th, 2012, a little before 1:00am, a neighborhood man spotted a small mini-van parked near the dead-end of Kim Drive and males getting out of the van wearing backpacks. He further observed the men walking and approaching vehicles in different yards.

Clarksville Police arrest Super 8 Motel Employee for using stolen credit card information to pay for Online Game Playing

 

Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – A fraudulent use of credit card investigation which originated in Illinois lead investigators to Clarksville Tennessee.

On November 18th, 2011 an Illinois woman was traveling to Florida and stopped for the night at the Super 8 Motel, 201 Holiday Drive. She paid for the room using a credit card. Little did she know that her credit card information was being copied and would be used without her permission.
