Austin Peay State University Baseball picks up 11th straight win with 10-8 victory over SIU Edwardsville

Clarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University’s baseball team got out to a 7-1 lead after three innings May 17^th versus SIU Edwardsville, but had to hold off the Cougars at the end for a 10-8 Ohio Valley Conference victory.

Austin Peay (41-13, 21-7 OVC) would get out to an early lead, just four batters into the game, on their fifth home run of the series to get out to a 2-0 lead.

Martin, TN - Junior starting pitcher Zach Hall struck out a season-best seven batters and junior first baseman Craig Massoni belted a pair of home runs as Austin Peay State University downed UT Martin, 9-3, in Ohio Valley Conference action at Skyhawk Field.

APSU Governors Baseball makes Final OVC Road Trip this weekend against UT Martin Skyhawks

Clarksville, TN – Following a six-day break for finals, Austin Peay’s baseball team returns to action when it travels to UT Martin for a three-game Ohio Valley Conference series scheduled to begin with a 6:00pm, Friday contest at Skyhawk Field.

Clarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University’s baseball team scored the game’s first seven runs in a 10-6 Ohio Valley Conference victory against Belmont, Sunday afternoon at Raymond C. Hand Park.

Austin Peay (28-12, 11-6) won the three-game series against Belmont (27-11, 14-4 OVC), 2-1, and snapped a stretch where it lost back-to-back OVC series.

APSU Governors Baseball rallies to beat Belmont Bruins 5-3

Clarksville, TN - Austin Peay State University rallied for the game’s final five runs to secure a 5-3 Ohio Valley Conference victory against Belmont, Saturday, at Raymond C. Hand Park.

Belmont (27-10, 14-3 OVC) struck in the first when Austin Peay starter Casey Delgado surrendered a single and back-to-back walks with one out. The Bruins plated one of those runs on right fielder Drew Turner’s sacrifice fly for the early 1-0 lead.
